what i said is that the 4th 5th and 6th strings are tuned the same but an octave higher. If you get a 12 string acoustic set, you just have to install the strings with the gauge showed in the video at 2:50 wich are the thiner strings for the 4th 5th and 6th... i hope this helps, thanks for watching and keep rockin'

Can you tell me what you say at 2:50?? I'm still a beginner on guitar so can you explain to me about the 3,4, 5 and 6 strings??Exactly what strings do you take from the 12 string guitar? It sounds great whatever you did.

So you could basically just use the strings from a 12 string set, then. If you have two guitars, you could then use the rest of the strings on the other guitar, which will then be your non-Nashville guitar…
