Excellent video straight to the point to point. That’s how you make a video, skip all those taking out radio panels one by one and how and what to use. But this is straight forward 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 and links are showed 👇🏼 not 👆🏼 🤣👍🏼 good video tho.
Remote wire from your amplifier should plug into the blue and white striped wire coming from out of your car stereo, this will activate the amplifier when the radio is turned on. Do not connect the remote wire from your amplifier to any yellow wire at the back of your stereo as stated in this video, the yellow wire is constant 12v power, this means even if your car is off it will continue to draw and power up your amp even when it is off. If there is no blue and white wire at the back of your radio you should use a red wire which is accessory power, this will power up your amplifier when you put the key into your switch and turn it one click.
Can you please show how you install the switch to your subwoofer the one you hit under your steering wheel because some of us really need detailed explanation im a slow learner
Run wire from your battery to the switch, then from the switch to your amp…. So when the switch is on, it sends power to the amp to turn it on… when the switch is off, it will turn the amp off…
5:09, where did those wires come from???That’s what I’m having the most trouble with. There are two ports on the back of my subwoofer and idk what to plug into them😩😩.
Urinal two ports on back of the box or the actual subwoofers ? I recommend you put the red on the plus and the black on the negative also if your amp just has one out and you have two in’s just put both positives on red and both negatives on black
Im going to install a 5 channel Kenwood Amp with a remote wire to control the bass..what i need to know is 4 gauge wire is sufficient? Now the comnection to the head unit i need to know what kind of unit i need so i dont blow up my Amp. Last question do i run my 4 speaker (2)for each door (2 for the rear door) speakers from my head unit to to my Amp or do i use a unit to wire up each wire from the 2 doors and 2 rear doors back to the Amp unit. The Hot wire and the remote wire along with the the wire cut off at the batterry so i dont blow up my unit? Id appreciated as much info as mossible because its the first unit i have ever installed? Thanks alot for the video it helped alot!!! 🎶🎵 Harry Lato
Haha I don't know why they use that the speaker turn on automatically if I don't want to play bass I just a just it in the radio or play the music low and also if u don't want to hear the bass all the time why even install it
If I was installing an amp for my front and rear speakers then how would I plug my rca’s into my radio if I only have one positive and one negative? Do I need 4 rca’s? I’m a bit new and learning
How do we find out where we run the wires through for our specific car? And does the remote or power switch typically come with the amp kit? Looking to install a sub in my car, this is all new to me.
Nice video 👍 when you plug the subwoofer to the radio where does that wire would you pull it out from?are you able to see all that radio wires from the front of the car ?
Sir I have one question I have sony ex gt 99bt car stereo ( 2 din) It says " direct subwoofer out" My question is can I connect subwoofer directly to my stereo or I have to use amplifier I don't have that much money to invest in amplifire
So i had a sub connected and working. I swapped my radio and had 3 sub wires. 2 being the av jacks and the third I think was the remote wire? Do u have any idea what the remote wire is there for or what to connect it to
Hello, One question Can i add car speakers via the 2 aux from the back of the stereo ;; Because i don't have an amplifier and i want to add 2 back speakers without amp Please help me if you can Thanks 🤠
Not always. Stock radios give out a speaker level signal to the factory speakers. Most amplifiers need an RCA signal to enter the amp to which it will supply the subwoofer with. So from the factory headunit you would install the lineoutput converter to change the speaker level signal to RCA so that the amp will accept it. And then from there you just install it like normal. The reason I said not always is because some amps have like built in line out converter in them like mine does. They way you can check is in the description of the amp you have to look for whether or not it accepts speaker level signals. Hope this answered your question buddy
Shouldn't you disconnect the POSITIVE battery cable? If you disconnect the negative but something that is grounded his the terminal, it completes the circuit like normal. Like a loose wire or a tool falling
Hey man, i saw some guys while installing an after market amp with after market stereo they put some kind of small converters or something like this on the output of stereo which is going to the input of an amp, what is that can you guide ?
I only have 1 subwoofer output on my stereo. But I can't get my rear doors to work. I have the front/rear doors connected to amp. But behind stereo I only have right+-, left +- which is only 4 low level audio wires from factory harness. I have the front doors connected to those 4 behind the radio but when I bridge the rear doors with the fronts. I get no sound at all. How can I fix this problem. I have a 4 channel amp
Where do my speaker wires go I have a front and rear option on my amp? I'm just powering a 12" sub so I'm not sure about where the speaker wires from sub to amp go?
I don't have asubwfer and every time to rise base buttom of amplifier over the half there's noisey in speakers tell me what I need to do especially I have achina android radio inside my car.

U can do this several ways the switch simply makes and breaks the connection on /off u could in line the switch from the main power cable to the amp or the remote wire they with both cut power to the amp. Hope this helps
After watching 30 videos on RUclips from car audio professionals I finally find the right video to instal a subwoofer. Thanks a Lot

ACTUALLY, it's a good idea to have your amp turn on with the stereo so if you turn the radio off it won't waste power but having a switch works too

Marco can i connect my factory speakers directly to the aftermarket adaptor and run those speaker wires to the Amp ny passing the old adaptor ?
Make sure power wire and rca cables are ran on opposite sides of the car (away from each other ).
why is that
@@cruzrobinson5030 can cause interference if ran on the same side
Thanks man. Easy way to explain it. Do the door speakers need to be hooked up to amp too? Or only woofers?
No need to hookup door speakers. Those go directly to stereo
Outstanding video young man !
Thank you 🙏🏾

great simple and most helpful video. Can you do a video on how to install the amp Switch
Yes I can
Bro this video is actually dope, is it the same process to install amp for speakers?
Thanks man. Should be pretty similar and straight forward 😎👍🏿
Hi Marco, useful video. I am going to install Lepy LP 838 to my Tata Nano. I already have a JVC which is not enough to power the sub.
Good video , got straight to the point 👍🏽

Nice video dude. I've been searching RUclips looking for the know how to install a subwoofer and Amp to a car.

Are your door speakers connected ? Is that why you don’t have any RCA’s in your stereo besides your amplifier one?
Which wire did you add the switch to for the sub cut off? Thanks

Where do you put the blue wire
My stereo has FL-RL and FR-RR it doesn’t have SW. which one am I supposed to plug the rca into?
Did you find an answer?
It doesnt matter its the same signal, its marked just so you can know which one is which but its all the same signal
Front left. Rear left. Fron't right rear right.
you know this takes a long time when you look at how dark it got 2 thirds into the video.
Where did you connect the rem blue wire too

+Victor Ensminger you just gonna have to get creative bro
So basically how the system is set up, all the positive and neg speaker wire gets attached to the amp only. Then the rca go to the head unit?
I would recommend rewriring your radio. Very unstable connections. Consider solder and heat Shrink.
Thanks for the suggestion
Where does the blue switch wire go into the head unit?
So how do you install the remote wire or how does that work?
do you connect brown to the shock absorbers ?
Brown wire goes to ground.
You can just screw it into unpainted metal.
How cost of sub woofer are amplifier
How much
The only question i have is where do you splice the remote wire too in the back of the head unit?
So my radio has rca inputs theres ones for each speaker the one labeled sub 1 and sub 2 is that where I should plug my rcas into they are both blue?
So can anyone tell me where he hook up the remote from the radio to the amp. Did I miss that??

I’m not sure, I have never seen it. You can give it a shot maybe your stereo has enough power to power up the subwoofer

hey did you splice the remote turn on into the blue wire on your headunit?
Is amplifier required???can we connect direct to car amph?
I have always added my own aftermarket AMP.
If your car has one and can push the speakers knock yourself out. Lemme know how it goes

You are probably talking about a capacitor,
Which is so your sounds will not drain out your car battery.
@@puromichoacan8339 what do you think, will capacitor be a solution ?
Thank you man. What is the remote wire for?
So you can buy like a little volume knob and it lets you control the loudness of the bass so it lets u lower it and raise it
Do I need the the power cable that runs from the battery to the back of the car if I’m not installing it in a car?
You can use any wire
