I know this is an ancient video, but the top mount has an access panel perforated into the carpet, you just have to fold down the rear seats.
Good vid thank you!
Thank you a big help other videos don't even show that top bolt
Here cause I can't find a Lincoln mark 8 video
whats the torque specs for these 2 nuts?
With mine it seem to have to hold the shock from spinning when tightening the nut on top
What’s the appropriate torque for tightening?
What size tools are you using
I know it's an old video but just what I need. but what do I do if I can't get the top nut off? got the bottom off but seems the top keeps spinning
Probably has a retaining nut underneath the torque nut (crazy, I know). Place a 15mm wrench on the bottom nut, use a 17mm socket on the top nut. Once the top nut is removed, grab the top of the shaft with a vise grip and work the bottom nut off. So frickin' tedious.
my bad. 9/16 on the bottom nut. Or just loosen it enough to cut the top off.
Thanks I wonder if it same as 1995 ..Now for this driver hits the wall www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1022/1022_01.asp
