- James “Jim” Buchanan Hilliard my great great grandfather had a blacksmith shop behind his house. He had a forge and reworked horse shoes and everything that he needed to repair. My grandfather Johnie Wilson Hilliard had it in his shop until he past way. He used it to repair tractors. Now I own it and I plan on continuing to put it to use.
Your Great Great grandfather would have loved what you did with his anvil! Great job!!!😊
Thanks
Great job. I wish I had something from my Granddads. You are a true Craftsman. TG
Thanks buddy. It will be greatly used in the future… hopefully. I still have to get my forge built! Stay awesome!
Great job, Bro! It's an heirloom that needed to be preserved.
Thanks! It’s going to be passed down for many more generations hopefully!
That was awesome to watch you work on G granddaddy’s anvil. Thank you!
Thanks. I’m hoping to put it to use for a lot more years!
Wow, I have never seen an anvil fracture like that before, I have seen horns and tails break off and even the face delaminate, good job sir, thank you for sharing.
Thanks! Hopefully soon I will have a forge to work with! Thanks for watching
