So pretty. Those pencils blend wonderfully! I’ve had two brand new Posca pens that the nib was completely detached from the barrel and when I opened the pen, white went everywhere. With my prismas breaking and my Poscas exploding I may go back to playing in the mud. Lol love your world doll.

I watched the entire video, thank you for creating such a long video, pushing yourself to try new things, I have so much anxiwty over wrecking books, I buy two each now of my favourites. One to keep one to colour, only on specific artists. I love Asian colouring books, anything wholesome cute, I don't do dark or scary. I am only missing the Lulu Mayo monsters and the Kawai one. Thank you Lucy! I bought the Arrtx 126 coloured pencils and will receive them tomorrow. It has been many years since I bought any pencils. But the different colours I have seen made me get them. I wish to see different colours than the norm in new sets that come out.

Yes you have a gift Lucy a talent Lucy so stupid has absolutely nothing to do with it. Brilliant yes stupid NO. You have to e practice self compassion and tolerance as much as you practice it on others. Be kind to yourself Lucy. The fact that you put yourself and your colouring in front of all to see takes courage and a desire to share what you’ve learned with the rest of us.

Speaking of bding fed up of winter weather, I am in Canada and we still have until the mid-end of April before snow is totally gone! Then sometimes we don't get a Spring af all we go straight into Summer weather. We still have snow storms.

That coloring book is adorable!😍I get anxious doing anything out of my comfort zone! I don't like change but I know sometimes change could be fun! There are so many things I want to learn with coloring that I am going to try to push myself a bit this year! I mean why not coloring is supposed to be fun and if I mess up oh well! Thank you so much for the video Lucy. Btw I think you’re exactly right you have to have the darker colors to bring the contrast up and give the image shape and form. Otherwise it does stay flat looking like you said. This is such a lovely image thank you so much for sharing and all your little helpful hints and tips. Have you seen the newer tooli-art sets? At least they are new in Canada. Southwestern and wildflower . Someone needs to build a color chart with all sets included
I find that even Johanna Basford’s Small Victories book takes awhile and you don’t finish an image as quickly as she’s made it out to be. At least for me. But I love that little book. There’s something about miniatures that appeals to the.

I have a question. I have about 25 pencil sets, and would like to know,
If you had to choose between the Castle Arts Gold and Arrtx pencils which would you buy? I have two sets of Castlw arts. The original Castle arts set and the 2nd set in its case. I don't have the Gold version. I was shocked to see the price of Arrtx right now. Do you have the 126 set?

Terrific job Lucy. You’re way too hard on yourself doll. I’ve developed holding my pencils like you also. It helps to change and alternate between the two to enable one to colour longer. Looks like a mamma bear to me. lol. This is colouring not realism art. If you wanted to make the bears pink and blue that would be your choice and joy. That’s why I go to colouring a lot because it totally frees me to bring out the inner child. And we as adults don’t get to do enough of that.
