@@sagir4512 I'm going to have to disagree with Peppo here. When you're as good as him you can do whatever you want, but for us normies we'll need Master rank gear as soon as we hit Iceborne. You can make a case for using Defender V until you finish the story if you have health augments on it from base world. But I don't think many people would have that. In that case, I recommend starting with Defender V, switch to Viper Kadachi LS after, this will be early as he will be the third monster you fight. Once you have access to Pink Rathian switch to the Rathian LS and upgrade as much as you can. Try and get the Wyvern Blade Blossom+. You can use it to finish the story. At this point Blossom+ has attack of 858 plus poison compared to Defender V which will be 726 as you can't upgrade it further in master rank. Once you beat the final boss you can switch to its longsword. You can keep using that until you can upgrade Blossom+ LS to Wyvern Blade Luna, you will need Gold Rathian parts for that. After that you can get the Raging Brachy LS which you can use for both Kulve Taroth and Safi. Safi LS will be excellent against Alatreon. For Fatalis I personally soloed him with the Alatreon LS but people have done it using Raging Brachy as well.
@@YTBessburger Demon Drug is a small buff (+5 attack) which doesn’t change anything in casual gaming (what I’m doing), that’s why I don’t use it. What do you mean by “armor for more optimal”?
Peppo. I’ve noticed you’ve been sticking with the d-jho LS for general play in MHW. What would be your recommendation for a general LS in MHW:IB?

Why don't you use demon drug and armor for more optimal in quest and Expedition?
