This is one of the better conversations I've seen in this series. They really tell stories, and not just heap praise on one another. Both seem very genuine.

One of my favorite actor on actors. These two have great chemistry together, and really seems like they enjoy each other here. one of the more genuine interactions between actors.
Josh Brolin is a true character actor.
MOOSEDOWNUNDER I think he bridges the gap between leading man and character actor. Like he can play both the hero and the villain. He can be a suave billionaire and a truck stop murderer.
Two best supporting actors of the year
J.K. Simmons was FANTASTIC in "Whiplash" but he's a great character type as well.

At least this one doesn't seem like someone is pointing guns at them off camera forcing them to talk...Brolin is a natural, so is Simmons.

Josh Brolin in look and character and gravitas has grown remarkably well from Goonies until now.
That series he's talking about with Anthony Zerbe was "The Young Riders," which I think lasted a season or two. It was about the early days of the Pony Express. Pretty good show! Josh played Wild Bill Hickok.
NorthWriter // It lasted three seasons. I love The Young Riders, I thought the acting in the show was great. Everything came off as so realistic and believable.
His character in TYR was James Butler Hickock, his dad was wild Bill, loved him and the rest of the cast, especially AZ because he is such an amazing and versatile actor and decent human being, apparently as I am just going on what other people have said, been around forever. ❤

you could argue pretty effectively that josh has had a better carrer than his dad. 7 or so years on marcus welby md is just sad. that said, james will always be the greatest actor on earth for doing westworld.

While I’d always thought of J.K. as a really solid actor, I had no idea just how diverse and truly talented he was until I saw “Whiplash”.
I’m baffled as to why he didn’t win an Oscar for that performance, or at the very least, have been nominated for one.
