- I forgot to mention the most important feature of this Camera is the Mechanical 3 Axis Stabilization feature, where it gives you a stable image even at maximum zooming.
The Camera Shoots 4K and 1080P
Correction, I later discovered that the dark snowy image at the end of the video was due to the Chroma Key effect in my live broadcasting software. So the camera shoots nice and clear even in darker situations.

Oh my gosh that will teach me i hadn’t seen the whole thing to busy, but came back to read your reply and whalla done there. Clean HDMI. Had you not replied I wouldn’t have seen the answer To my question Thankyou. No need for a whole new Video you’ve done it. Brilliant. Now all i need I would know is do I need A HD card and OSD to run my atem mini pro iso and to find out why I need the other switcher you have . So videos on those topics should be great. Thank you. I’ve also got a cannon AX40 I’m glad you like cannons.

Hello good afternoon. Congratulations on your tutorials. I wanted to ask you for a little help on the sony fdr-ax33 camera. Question: Can I connect it to my PC and turn it into a webcam for a live Facebook? I'm not very practical and I wanted to get help as I can't find anything about it. Thank You for your congrats, and yes you can do that however to do so you must have a USB to HDMI video capture card. Then what you will need is to feed the HDMI cable from the Camera to the USB Video Capture card. You can not do it through the USB connection. Hey my friend can I use the multi usb to connect it to the tv ? Cuz the mini hdmi don’t work I think get damage but I like to know if you the multi works the same ?
Unfortunately you can't get HD quality from that port. So if you use that you need a special cable that has 480X640 Output, that is the RED/White/Yellow RCA cable with a very poor quality 4:3 Aspect ratio video output.

Thank you, so the camera doesn't have any built in flash, but it has a mount for an external flash on the top.

One pet peeve of mine is the misuse of the phrase "Depth Of Field".
Depth Of Field is the area of sufficient focus.
"Bokeh", is the out of focus area both in the background and the foreground.
Therefore the word that you should have used at 17:59 is Bokeh. 😉

No problem, here are the answers
1. You can hook up this to your Mac Computer using an HDMI Video Capture card unless the Mac itself has a built in video capture card.
2. Yes you can do live streaming or video capture with OBS as long as OBS is compatible with your Video Capture Card.
3. With OBS you can create multiple inputs and you can overlay one input over the other creating the PIP effect. You can even have more than one PIP

Hi, unfortunately no, for a blurry backgrounds you will need a DSLR, or a Mirror-less camera using a 50mm lens, because you want a very wide aperture opening to blue the background.
Thank you for a great review. You mentioned that the micro HDMI port does not output 4K. How do you get the camera to output to a TV in 4K? Cheers.
Most newer TVs have a SD Card slot for playback, if not you can use a USB SD Card Reader, plug it on the back of the TV, and insert the Memory Card from the camera into the card reader. Then use the TV remote controller to play the footage on the TV

Hi, I've got the Sony Fdr-Ax33 camera. I've got a problem. When I shoot 20 minutes or longer videos, when I transfer my videos to the computer, my videos are divided into two. Example: 20 minutes video is displayed in two separate files as 10 minutes on the computer. How can I solve this problem. I want my long videos in a single file. I don't want every 10 minutes to be a separate file. I want my long videos in one file. I would be very grateful if you can help me ?

Can the recording be edited on kinemaster?
Hi, I have never tried Kinemaster, however they work fine with, Camtasia, Corel Video Studio, Adobe Premier, Sony Vegas, and Final Cut.

Do you have any idea how to turn off the surround sound for the recordings? I was recording on this for years (without surround sound) on AVCHD. But suddenly it's recording in surround sound every time I use it. And I don't need surround sound. I can't find any audio options on this camcorder to turn the surround sound off.
Hi, in order to Turn the surround sound ON and OFF you must first change the Image Quality to HD AVCHD, otherwise the Audio Mode will be grayed out. Thanks
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 Okay, I found what I was doing wrong (or should I say, not doing at all). On the options menu, there's an option for "Camera/Mic". I never chose that option before (for some reason). I just kept selecting "Setup" to try finding the audio options. But I just selected the Camera/Mic option and found the option to turn surround sound off and back into 2 channels. This is such a relief. Thanks for the answer. It made me take a deeper look at things. : )

What are the best HandyCams to buy used with video quality that's relevant for today's standards and is it safe to buy secondhand camcorders? I'm not looking for something overly professional and can only spend a few hundred dollars. The AX33 in this video seems phenomenal but i can hardly find any in my region though there are plenty of the CX405 but it seems like a waste of money. The retail prices for the entry-level and mind-range camcorders here in Canada are quite high even when some of them are years old.
Hi, if you don't care about it being a 4K Camera, then I recommend a Canon VIXIA HF G20. I have 3 of them for my Tutorial Videos and I am very happy with them.

I can't find any G20s in my area but they can be bought new for over a thousand dollars and I don't have that kind of money, so do you have any suggestions for 1080p camcorders i should look for? I have been looking at the Canon Vixia HF R800 but its video quality doesn't seem sharp enough.
@@Kizarat You can get a used VIXIA HF G20 for $500 on eBay, that is where I bought mine.

Can I use USB multi port to charge the camera?
Yes as long as the port is powered independently and not using the computer USB Port power. The independently powered USB ports have a 5V AC Adapter

The one I have only has English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, because it was made for America. So if you buy one in Europe it might have Italian Language as an option.
i know why u were getting the "dust in the curtain".....this is a good camera awesome resolution as long as there is good light the dust is iso noise if you were to light correctly that room u wouldn't get it
Agreed, butt with my Canon VIXIA HF G20 even at low light I don't get snowy image. So I guess this camera's low light performance is not so good.
the sd card has some involvement in it according to this article link below...for a 4k xvac file it records at 100mb\s so you need a v90 type sd card...i have a a7sii with a v60 type and noticed some noise ...i just ordered a v90 from b&h I'll let you know when I do the test

@@xpetrusx Thank you, good point and yes a slower SD Card will limit your bit rate which will give you a poor quality video regardless of your lighting situation. So basically it is a different type of poor quality. A low bit rate video will be pixellated or it will have boxy curves, where ISO noise is like green spots under low lighting.
Why does my camcorder sd card records in 16 minute increments? It just started doing this for some odd reason.
I have 32, 64, 128 and also 256 cards.
You need to make sure the SD card is formatted in exFat file system, and make sure the camera settings are set to record Video as a single file and not split them to smaller file sizes.
I'm new at this. How would I accomplish this?
