Well, I think I've found the lab variant I want to play now. This is one of the coolest decks I've seen to this day.

What do you think about lord of heavely prison?
Works wonders with Cooclock, and saves your interactions for when you really want them, but otherwise is a win-more card, as Duster isn't that bad with proper deckbuilding (You can even set "Boo-Boo game" with Lady's chain effect)
Congrats on 4th! How is SEC against Yubel? I might be messing up the math with the deck but it seems very hard to find a good point to use it against, unless I’m missing something! Yubel already seems like a bad match up but if this card can actually resolve for a lot of value that would make it a lot easier.
Congrats! But Why Trap tricks? It allows you to use only 1 trap for the rest of the turn. Just 1 trap doesn’t stop your opponent
Keep in mind you can use other traps before Trap Trick, and allows a search to use Simultaneous Equation Cannons, the star card of the deck. "Just 1 trap doesn't stop your opponent" is completely false as well. Banish your opponents entire field is absolutely INSANE and is obviously why he landed 4th place in a national tournament
Its a trap heavy deck. You aren't suppose to use trap trick 1st.
Trap trick first = 1 trap of choice but locked out.
Trap trick last = all traps you have + 1 trap of choice.

Any changes you're thinking of going into the new format?
I'm tempted to test this build but adding the Phantom of yubel package. Chaos angel doesn't seem to come up often and having another Insulation to the opponent trying to stop your normal traps with monster effect is pretty strong. you only really need 1 phantom anyway since Throne can keep shuffling it back into the extra deck. Phantom pop spirit of yubel from deck, summon OG yubel, they get rid of it or you torrential the board Throne effect target phantom to add to hand and now you have phantom set up again for your turn since both yubels are in GY.
Sound interesting, if you were to execute your plan, what will be the deck list for this idea?

Did you ever resolve 2 simultaneous equation cannons in 1 game, using the leftover xyz monster you didn't return for the first one to fulfill the level/rank requirement on the field of the second? I noticed that cannons doesn't need to return the fusion and xyz that were just banished in the first part of the effect, but rather any of your banished fusion and xyz
I have resolved that in an online game, but I didn't resolve it in nationals no.
I did once resolve it with a banished hugin altering the requirements though.

are there 6 targets for prosperity that you do blind game 1 going 1st? post side?
Going first blind if I choose to banish 3 it's usually Typhon, chaos angel, millennium eyes. This way I still have all my targets to resolve SEC on a level 8 monster.
If I choose to banish 6 then I usually banish the acid golems and the frekki. This way I've only lost access to 11 card level 8, but all other ways to hit level 8 are in tact.

My friend played duality instead of prosp. We discussed it and basically agreed that prosp is better, but duality is a nice safety net which conserves brain power for a long event.
It's possible to play both for sure though.
The only real reasons not to play duality are that it conflicts with arias and occasionally it plays bad into hope harbinger and skull guardian (although so does prosp).
I’ve been playing lab with main duality for a while, and I’ve been liking it. I just wanna make sure, how often does arias come up with SEC on turn 0?
Probability of seeing arias+trap trick or SEC is 17%, so approximately 1 in 6 games.
What was the name of the other rank 4 xyz monster I didn't catch it
He has Bagooska and Dugares. Bagooska is a standard slow down tool, while Dugares is more versatile. The other XYZ monsters arent a big deal but Lab does have good lvl 4s so these two are very important. I personally love Dugares and use 2 of him in my other Lab decks
Im so curious, if you were to build this in master duel (even without equation) would you play maxx c?
Also thoughts on called by since if you open arias welcome you cant strike it?
I think the answer to "would you play maxx in this deck?" is always yes regardless of the deck.
Called by I think should probably have replaced the freezing curses in the side deck.
The only reason not to play Maxx C is if it stands in the way of core strategies for your deck

What are your thoughts on CED over Punishment? Without all the Punishment targets, a targeted destroy seems worse than a targeted bounce.
It's not just destroy its banish everything
You still have the 1 target that matters - n'tts.
Compulse is just a little low impact at the moment in comparison to other traps.
@@L3w157 May I ask about the Runick card, how did you consider Flashing Fire vs Freezing Curses? My first thought would be that the effect negation wouild be versatile over the destruction, I guess you had specific plays in mind, like using it on I:P?
I wanted it to be the card that always does "something" rather than the card that would necessarily be the best.
The point of the runick was for it to be versatile.
Potentially under skill drain freezing curses is dead, and destruction is bad in some matchups.
Flashing fire is just the card that is always going to be "ok", and that's good enough.
