Really? No real instrumented tests, just a bunch of stuff you could learn on the web site in 10 minutes. they are pleasant people, but its just not really a road test.
I have had 6 Yukon XL’s and they were great trucks for hauling trailers and Hockey bags and weekend trips to the cottage. I had great luck with the 6.2l. My silverados also worked well with the 6.2. I just went to the 3.0 Duramax and I can’t believe the fuel mileage. If you are not hauling a 30ft trailer I would totally recommend it. It is strong and quite for an inline 6. I would consider going to the diesel on the next Yukon/Suburban.
The 2025 Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade is far and above a superior SUV to any of the others in that class. Fit and Finish, QC, build quality is second to none. Ford Expedition will have half a dozen recalls in the first year like every other Ford product. I know I owned 6 of them. In Canada the dealers get so little allocation for these SUVs that they almost always sell for MSRP or close to it. First couple years demand will be higher then production.
Have to wait till March 2025 to order the 3.0 Duramax Diesel, currently I have a 22 Tahoe with the Duramax. The mileage is unbelievable, the best on the highway on a long trip was37hwy and lifetime e is 28.
You guys do such a great job. I've been watching for years. I can't deny I was a hater at first when you brought in 'the wife'(no disrespect, wives are to be cherished). You two have improved as a team and I really enjoy watching. I subscribe to a lot of car youtube channels and you guys have become one of my go-to's. Great stuff and keep up the good work!
If you plan on keeping a long time, avoid the air suspension unless you have very deep pockets. Nearly a guaranteed $8,000. Time bomb 7-10 years down the road.
I'm picking up a RST this week but I can't decided if the RST capability Package for $2,550 is worth it??? That package provides Magnetic Ride Control, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, Power-sliding center console. However for that package you must add the $1,500 Panoramic power sunroof plus the $370 Power second row bucket seats, that's a total $4,420 to the MSRP. The car is for my wife and three little ones, and essentially I can save the money with a 2nd row bench, no moon roof and the standard suspension. We found our 2022 Suburban wasn't the smoothest ride and I'm sure the shorter wheel base in the 2025 Tahoe will help. You mentioned a revised suspension, so really I don't care about the moon roof or 2nd row buckets, so I'd basically be paying $4,420 for a upgraded suspension, GUYS IS THAT MAGNETIC RIDE CONTROL AND ADAPTIVE AIR RIDE THAT MUCH OF AN IMPORVEMENT TO SPEND $4,420? IS THE REVISED STANDARD SUSPENSION AND SHORTER WHEELBASE ENOUGH OF A NOTICABLE CHANGE?
Hello Zack and Andrea, I am a huge fan and have watched you for years. I am looking to replace my minivan, I am stuck between the expedition and the Tohoe/suburban. I have 8 kids, what will you recommend.
Sales are still pretty healthy in historic context... actually the highest since 2008. But yeah, prices are always gonna creep up, pretty much across the board. It's not just GM... it's the entire industry.
Beautiful truck. Is reviewing the 2025 Armada something you will pursue? Looking for a SUV winter/spring and Tahoe and Armada *redesigh 2025) are my top two. Always enjoy your vlogs. Cheers from Ontario
I can't pay 60g's plus for a vehicle with cloth freaking seats! I just can't do it. My wife is going to be in the market at the first of the year, and I hope we can find a Z71 under 65k. Prices are still insane!!
This is a nice vehicle indeed, but neither this nor the 100 k plus top GMC Denali doesn't offer a thigh extension for the front seats, I'm a bit disappointed this was not considered in this upgrade.
If you can live without that giant touch screen and the minor cosmetic changes to the exterior, 2024 models are getting huge discounts. High Country in the low 70k range is almost 20k off MSRP.
4:53 the downgrade to all red and even worse brake/turn signal combination lamps is quite the nonsensical decision. The 2024 had textbook taillights with separate running, brake and amber turn signals so the downgrade to these new less effective and safe and more ambiguous taillights makes no sense.
Thats a boat load of money and more for the high country and diesel ...... Like the interior and air ride but 24" wheel, just wait to you replace them a get a shock a the cost . Good job GM but to high for the average Canadian .

Unfortunately this is a high theft vehicle. Brand new Tahoe is close to 6000 a year in Ontario. Clean record and have been driving for over 30 years. If I install an ignition lock and insurance spyware I save 1000. Way too much insurance. A Cayenne Turbo is less to insure!
What do I think of it? Way too expensive. I'll pick up one just off lease for $$ less. Do wish they made a tech free model that provides the transportation/room without all the bells & whistles. Great video on it though.
Base models start around $60k. Or there is the slightly smaller Traverse for significantly less. I'll probably go for one of those for my next vehicle. I really don't need a huge Tahoe... but I love watching the reviews. 😆
The lack of rear centre headrests is unacceptably unsafe and evidence of Chevy/GM just doing the bare legal minimum at the expense of safety. The more things change with Chevy/GM, the more things stay the same...
oh stop with that no one's head even rest on them, I'm sure chevy researched that is blocked drivers rear visibility and then everyone would have to get a camera mirror for free think about it

The absolute garbage 5.3 and 6.2 engines that are plagued with problems, and GM has done absolutely nothing to address the design flaws, except to keep replacing the engines ,it really sad!
The 5.3 is among the best engines GM has ever made. You hear about the lifter issues so much because so many millions were made. It’s a statistical game.
GM has been making that 6.2L V8 FOREVER. And Guess what? It's still not the rock of reliability, especially when compared to Toyota's 5.7L V8 that was used for a long time in the Tundra. GM needs to evolve rather than just wrap a dinosaur in the latest trendy attire.
These are the best and highest quality car review videos on RUclips ❤

TAHOE THE KING OF SUV 👍🏻
THANKS FOR GREAT REVIEW
Been waiting for this and what superb weather for the video 🎉
Can’t wait to have one of these tailgate me on the Highway
Just get something bigger!😊
Get yourself a Ford Excursion, lift it, and put it on 37" tires, then tailgate *them*. Checkmate.
It'll be a break from the regular BMWs
On the bright side, at least they lowered the headlights so you won't be blinded if they do. 😁

I’m not a big fan of screens like the new trend at BMW, but i think they did a pretty good job chevrolet. That suv looks realllllly good
Not a big Chevy fan but the Tahoe is one that I would own. (If I had that king of money)
Outstanding review! Thank you
One of the few actual SUVs left. Gimme.
Finally, America getting to cherish the turbodiesel and enjoying decent mileage. Greetings from over the pond
The ultimate family vehicle. We have the gmc Yukon duramax version and our family loves it. Better fuel economy than our old minivan.
The beast knows how to make big space! 👍🏻 Nice interior! 👍🏻 Great show Andrea! ☕️☕️
Are the seats improved in the 2025 model? They have always been so hard. Thanks
I watched some other reviews, and they said seats are more comfortable
Yes. I traded my 2023 for a 25 RST and the seats are far more comfortable.
I love the 18” wheels with miles of sidewall tires found on the base LS! 24” is just stupid, but I get that YMMV.
I parked next to one and it made my X5 look like a baby crossover
Thanks for the review...looking forward getting rst...do u have video of how it looks t night...

16k if you own a Mercedes.😂
if you put $95 aside every month you'll have enough for the air suspension in 7 years
Wow, love the looks and the 6.2 liter V8. Wish it cost $55k. But that’s nice, like the room inside.
You should do a video comparing which full suv will you pick.
Awesome couple😊

Good review but yikes on the price! Nearly twice the price of 20 years ago to sell half as many as 20 years ago, modern GM's sales strategy.
Right!
Twice the price of 20 years ago doesn't sound bad at all considering additional standard features, power, size etc?
@@johnk2384I wish our wages we're also twice as much, otherwise, twice the price is rich
Unfortunately the new norm. Has gotten significantly worse post-Covid. Essentially the modern day Cadillacs, full frame, luxury ride and price.
