- In this Cricket 22 video, I will show you how to play the game using the keyboard on your computer. This is the bowling tutorial.

Before Delivery:
Arrow Keys - Aim Bowling Marker
I - Open Tactics Menu
K - Shine Ball
J/L - Adjust Crease Approach (left/right)
W/A/S/D - Four buttons map to the available Deliveries
Shift -Toggle Special Deliveries
During Delivery:
Arrow Keys - Fine Tune Aim
S -Standard Delivery
D -Faster Delivery/Effort Ball
W -Slower Delivery

This is a video game and not an actual cricket match.
I use my voice to do the commentary for my gameplay videos and edit it to make the game look real and entertaining for the viewers.
Game Information: Cricket 22 is a 2021 video game developed by Big Ant Studios and published by Nacon for PC, Playstation, Xbox & Nintendo.

I am finding it difficult to manually set the field on different positions with keyboard. Like the fielder is on mid on how can i rotate it to 360 degree and place that fielder on the position i choose. Kindly make a tutorial of that. It would be very helpful.

You cant set manual fielding with keyboard. You need a controller. It is the same in cricket 24 as well, unfortunately.

@Gaming14 even though keyboard can be used for playing, honestly lot to stuff are missing. You also cant play the lofted chip shot.
In cricket 24 even leaving the ball option has disappeared from keyboard!

@Gaming14 if budget is not an issue, always go for Xbox original controller- they will fit with any game while using your PC.
With generic controllers the lifespan may vary and not always connect with all the games without using third party controllers

your game saves file will be available on this location in your PC. You can copy it and keep it in Google Drive.
Other than that, the game uses cloud save so your game is always automatically saved on cloud.

Bro, I use a controller but even then I don't field. I always put fielding on automatic. I just tried batting and bowling with a keyboard and made those videos. I will still try and see if I can do...

Since keyboard users can only use Arcade control, I am not sure they can use aftertouch. I haven't played the game for long with KB so I could be wrong, but that is my understanding. You need standard / pro control to use Aftertouch.

Ive been Playing on PC with keyboard, when I try to change my field settings (moving a specific player to another position) the cursor seems to be stuck and I can only change that fielder to the nearest position. I, perhaps there's another button to press that I'm missing?
Unfortunately, on Keyboard, it is not possible to set a manual field. This has been an issue from the beginning. You will have to choose from a preset field.
How to throw bowl in bowler end
S = throw to end
D= throw at stumps
Left ctrl = set aim at bowler’s end
Left shift = set aim at wk end

Yes, but certain things are missing on keyboard controls like manual field setting, some shot types etc
But, yes you can play directly with keyboard
In cricket 19 how to play by using keyboard spillter... in cricket 22 you don't have to do that.... you can play with keyboard only when you open the game??

Controller good quality purchase karna padega. Otherwise proper angle nahi milega, unfortunately. Generic controller me b yeh issues ho sakta hai .

I think it used to be 'TAB' but a lot of keys have stopped working as keyboard support is not that great in the game. Try TAB or Backspace

How to apply for drs while bowling?
When the umpire rejects your appeal, the DRS option will come up on the screen. Use your arrow keys (I think) to select YES or NO
It is not shown
Why? It is automatic and we don’t have to do anything. If your appeal is correct that is ball hitting pad or beating bat.. the DRS prompt will come up.
