This movie was the first Bollywood movie that I downloaded the teaser from a cyber cafe. Saved it on my Computer and watched the teaser whenever I feel like. Back when it was the era of 2g. When I first saw the trailer in TV I just could not resist myself. I was mesmerised by A R Rahman's music, Ranveer, Nargis and Imtiaz Ali's masterpiece. I still remember those times ❤️❤️
Box office tells us all...we don't have to go by what "some" people are saying. He is def a rockstar. Reminds me of Sanju of the 90s. Infamous for his notoriety and affairs but was a rockstar when it came to the screen/stage. Ranbir is way more sober than Sanju but has a much bigger legacy though.
The sensitivity & respect & guidance with which Ustad Jameel Khan handles Jordan is mind-blowing. He know that Jordan will be lost without him and he has less time left. Shammi Kapoor is/was really amazing actor , the shining eyes .

I know I’ll get trolled but I admired Nargis in this movie. She had a tough ask against a gigantic character of Ranbir but she was amazing. The scene of asking Jordan to hug before her wedding is scene of the decade
Finally I found someone like me yes her acting is weak but the chemistry is just surreal she felt like heer to me moments when she was sick also felt so real their silences are beautiful
I really liked her acting, I liked specially when they hug for the first time when she is really sick. That's was my favourite something ethereal and deep. I loved the movie

Rockstar is really a great movie of 2011 the people of that time wasn't ready for this masterpiece, and the Jordan character is itself a character that really portrays every musician and artist who are struggling into for their success, is an great inspiration.I love JJ aka Ranbir Kapoor. I wasn't a big fan of Ranbir Kapoor, and Mohit Chauhan who is the real voice of Jordan or JJ after I watched Rockstar I really become a big fan of Ranbir Kapoor acting skills. He is literally a living piece of art. Rockstar is still an underrated film and I will always want it to be underrated. Only few people can understand the true meaning of this film . I usually love romedic tragedies but this movie made me long for a sequel with a less sadder ending.. I watched 'Ae dil hai mushkil 'too pretty much the same theme, but somehow just didnt feel enough.. Nargis Fakhri and Ranbir Kapoors' onscreen chemistry is magical
