My entire football team buzzed their hair on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in honor of someone on the team’s brother who had a cancer that only 100 people in the world have. This kid needed to shave his head, so the entire team stood up for him and did the same in honor of him. He’s had dozens of surgeries and I pray that he acquires the help he needs to get better.

Did it myself, looked terrible with a full buzz, took the opportunity after a breakup because I wasn't proud of who I was so I decided to restart, even took photos just incase to remind myself where I started, why I started, and where I came from, yeah yeah sounds corny I know, but I saw the chance and took it, didn't rely on looks but rather to change myself within so that I can do better, up until now my hair has started to grow back and Im feeling better, stronger, brighter. Learned a lot about myself in that time that my hair was buzzed, I recommend it to y'all, stay hydrated, hug moms and do better.

As a man with long hair, i like to think of the journey I’ve been going through with self improvement as my hair grows. It serves as a reminder of the good and the bad times, like the rings on a tree, that way I don’t forget my mistakes and can learn and be better for my future wife and family.

Not long after I was diagnosed with autism and went through a spiritual awakening. The shaving of my head signified a huge rebirth for me and it’s something I’ll always cherish!
My mums half Nigerian and I can confirm my child hood was just buzz cuts with some cutters that would grip my hair and hurt and if I moved I got a slap round the head for my troubles 😂 the good old days of the 90s

In August one of my close friends was diagnosed with cancer and me and a bunch of our friends buzzed our heads for our friend to show support. It was a little hard for me at first because I had a big Afro of curly hair but it didn’t bother me that much because I knew I was doing it for a good cause. We did it before our first football game and thankfully my friend is slowly getting better. I kind of like my hair buzzed and I decided I will keep it like this until my friend can grow his hair back as a sign of my continuous support. I think what you said is true with the fact that I feel more confident and like a better man with my hair buzzed
I used to always have a buzz growing up so much I hated it cause I just wanted dreads all my life. Finally got them when I was 18-19 and had a really bad situationship. I cut off all my hair told myself I'm going to regrow my dreads and grow as a new person. For me it wasn't about looks but about breaking Bad habit, and maturing. So now my current dreads remind me of the new growth I've gone thru and how far I've came.
I had a buzz for 10 years or so. I didn't really care about my hair back then. But now I have a new hairstyle. People tell me I looked better with a buzz sometimes but I feel better with my new hairstyle and that is what counts I think.
