Really helpful video thank-you. One oddity, when I fit the cartridge with the pins lined up, as advised, then it goes in upside down, and the temperature control is reversed. I am guessing that is because the housing has been installed upside down .... but the temperature control on the cartridge I replaced did work the right way round, so wondering if it is possible to reverse this somehow?
In your video "Mixer shower problems", number 3 talks about lubricating the valve. However this video, although titled "How to service" is only talks about replacement of the cartridge. Is lubrication not a practical option for this unit (Combi HP)?
Very good video, I Ordered a new cartridge at 2.45pm and it came the next morning fantastic service Well Done.🙂
thanks saved me a lot of bother today

Do you need to isolate water before taking out ?
So if it's leaving do you hair to replace the valve?
I haven't seen any cartridges available online. I will probably just replace the whole unit with a upto date one.
can anyone tell me what happens if you remove the sticker on the back of the cartridge but then put it back on within seconds...
Thanks for the video. What a crap design where you have to superglue seals. Superglue will cause them to become brittle and reduce the life.
