I am so excited about the new generation of young racers, guys like Lando and Carlos and Charles especially. Here we have guys on the upswing, performing very near to the top, yet maintaining modesty and gratitude and sportsmanship and dedication to the team. When these guys make it to the top- and they will- they'll become a new type of role model showing that you can be a motorsport champion and still have all the qualities that make you a fair competitor and a genuinely kind person. Up until now, we simply accepted that an ace racing driver had to have a massive ego, unbridled aggression, and extreme selfishness. We put up with all kinds of unhealthy rage, fiery tempers, and foul behaviors because we assumed you just couldn't win without that type of old school type A ferocity. Guys like Lando are about to prove that's not always true, and I'm so eager to see how this could change the culture of motorsport for the better.
Superb brilliant and fantastic, i love F1 and this was just a normal convo that you just dont get anywhere else, surely next stop has to be Lewis. I love the normal stuff and insights into their lives same as you crouchey natural stuff which is top draw ❤❤❤
Hamilton never tells the truth though. He hides his middle class upbringing and all the help he got as a young mixed race kid from TV shows, ZipKart getting his own formula to promote him etc staged meetings with the royal family and so on. All we get is stories on how hard his life was, even though he never worked a job and got all is Dad's earnings ploughed into him
Lando - definitely one of my fav drivers from the 'new' breed. Not sure he knows all 1000 employees however. I worked for an F1 team for almost 2 years. Hardly ever spoke to the drivers!
crouchy and the other bloke are actually quite good at this - loved the random questions about driving on the road with normies and breakfast - good interview!!
I think having a Belgian mother might explain why he has a bit of a continental twang at times. That's not judging at all though, plenty of friends and acquaintances with international parents and/or who've lived here & there and their accents are all over the place, heh.

Sharing my high thoughts because I will have forgotten them in a few minutes. Isn't it weird that when introducing ourselves we tell the other person the least interesting thing about us and expect them to remember it. We get upset when people don't remember our names. Maybe it would be more interesting if instead of telling them our name, we gave them a little fact about ourselves. "Hi, I'm John. I had to leave the army because I fell down a rabbit hole during training" That I would remember, a random thing about you, especially if we came up with them on the spot so they were influenced by their current mood and first impressions of the person they were meeting. Let's be honest lads, we don't care about names; we can be friendly with someone for years without knowing their name.
It's not SA but it's different for sure. He lives in Monaco now I believe, as do most of them, so they sort of migrate their accent, Lewis' changed a lot too
