- On today’s episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Crouchy, Chris and Sids have some very exciting news…
It has been a long and arduous road, but finally it looks like Crouchy has managed to pull a few strings and get Manchester United legend Eric Cantona to sit down and talk to the lads.
In preparation for this, the lads sit down and look at some of Cantona’s most iconic moments during his football career, including THAT kung-fu kick, his questionable quotes, worldie goals and all round maverick moments.
Chris also gives the lads a bit of an update on his recent weight loss journey, detailing some devastating remarks he has received from the missus as well as stick from the lads for counting walking as a form of exercise rather than a mode of transportation.
The lads also give their point of view on why opposition players seem to be switching ends less after winning the coin toss, and Chris gives his damming verdict on the modern game.

Many years ago I edited a documentary about Cantona, and his come back after the kung fu kick. As a lifelong Palace fan, I was a bit conflicted about spending eight months of my life on the project, but very quickly came to love him and found him remarkable, genuine and very decent.

Bit late to the party, just hearing you guys discuss the coin toss and side choosing. All I can say from being at the Emirates frequently is that the away end is pretty much opposite the north bank, so if an away team wants to shithouse us after winning the coin toss they themselves would have to play on the opposite side of their away fans for the second half too. Meaning they potentially disadvantage themselves as well in the process.

Not shitting in the bus is like the unwritten rule, plus it's normally the driver that has to clean up your skidmarks/empty the tank at the end of a shift so no wonder it pisses them off
