Thank you! Your channel has finally clicked with me. I just wasn't ready to actually absorb it before and act... but WOW! This is gold and your website too. Treasures there everyone should check out. I bought your book and man I am pumped. Thank you again and God bless you.
Great videos, Spencer! I live in Oregon, so I can relate to your battle of northwest moss on shingles. In this video you said, “…you don’t need to rinse the roof after you treat it.” I've never seen you do a post-rinse after you've applied the soft-wash, and wondered if that was healthy for roofs. I found an Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association article titled "Algae & Moss Prevention and Cleaning for Asphalt Roofing Systems" which advises to allow the cleaning solution to dwell on the roof for just 15-20 minutes, and before it dries to then THOROUGHLY rinse the roof off after soft-washing a roof, otherwise it will quickly age and deteriorates the shingles. I've seen this same advice on numerous roof professionals' websites, and have never seen anyone else instruct to NOT rinse a roof after applying a water/bleach mixture. What are your thoughts?
Are you sure the ruined paint job wasnt because of what the paint product is made out of,because Sherwin paint has been known to react from bleach & congratulations on the new baby
He uses a soft wash system which you can attach a hose to. he has a few videos you can look into, I ended up building the same one as he has and it works amazing!
Hey bro, you're inspiring me to stop being poor and go out and do some work and try my best to make some money. I want to know if you work out and how do you fit that into your work schedule? As I am strongly assuming cleaning gutters etc can be pretty taxing on the body? I've cleaned enough dishes to finally buy a car and start this thing.
Do you have your customers sign some sort of waiver? If not, why not? I'm considering this as a side hustle and it seems like the biggest barrier to entry for me is the fear of damaging something. Whether that's from ignorance, oversight, or just plain mistakes made. How do you safe safeguard yourself?
I don't think any sane homeowner would sign a contract stating if your chemicals destroy their paint, you're not liable.I know i certainly wouldn't. You're supposed to be a professional and not do things like ruin their paint. That's what it means to hire a professional. If someone wanted to risk their paint getting destroyed, usually means they'll hire the cheapest, regardless of insurance. Those are the customers you don't want. Or maybe you do, idk. But, just my .02, don't think you can do this just by watching youtube videos. Go work for someone for a year. Learn the biz, learn the things only experience will teach you and then venture off. These channels probably cause a tsunami in insurance claims by people thinking they can watch videos on youtube and become professionals.
You said, in an earlier video that it is a full container (6.5 lbs) per 26 gallon tank of water, approximately. Will any remaining unused mix have any kind of shelf life or should you try to use the entire tank per roof job?..Thanks Spencer for your service!..Paul
happens, I would have to take a look but sometimes you need to just change the credit card, try running a VERY simple ad and see what happens. Also there are people on certain sites or telegram channels that you can pay to do it i haven't done that personally but would if I needed too
@@SpencerClaeys I got my first account blocked and I tried a good few things including changing my bank account for a new card which didn’t work. @@HomeslicedVideos A tarp will not catch the poison used to kill mold and mildew. A tarp will only deflect it onto your lawn or garden. Unless you catch it all it will kill your shrubs or lawn or even pets.
@@MikeJones-rk1un gimme a break SH or percarb won’t KILL pets or plants. Yes SH can spot them if you get overspray that’s why you keep the plants wet and then rinse them as well after. And keep your pets in the house while the cleaning is going on problem solved. You would have to literally dump gallons of this stuff straight on plants to kill them or pets. Percarb (oxygenated bleach he’s using here) is even less hazardous! Stop spreading misinformation.

If you spray it on a roof and wash it off 30 minutes later will you see immediate results or does it take longer?
Hi i have a question can i do roof and gutter cleaning without the need of adding chemicals starting out like just clean and blow the leaf?
Spencer! I was wondering what you use to mix your garden hose with chemicals it doesn’t look like you’re using a pressure washer
He uses a soft wash system which you can attach a hose to. he has a few videos you can look into, I ended up building the same one as he has and it works amazing!
Do you need to mix this with hot water? Or will neutral/cold water be fine?
put a couple gallons cold water in then add the pcarb then mix then add rest of water and mix again should be good.
@ great advice. Really appreciate that
@@AndrewValeri3 No problem brother..I been binging these kinds of videos for years lol :)

Nobody will sign that. Get business insurance and don't screw up
Love your videos. Great ideas. What some of the before and after? Said roof done on monday, what's it look like on tuesday?
For sure! I've been using it extensively since like march and some of the roofs look really good even after just a few weeks but i'll do a video on it
What are the measurements for oxygen bleach?
1/2 cup per gallon of water which should cover 100 square feet or so
Just ready in comments about the new baby! Congrats bro. Praise be Jesus Christ+ 🙌👶💓🙏✝️
All those trees too close to the houses are making you a fortune.
I know right haha they’re the best
Is your percarbonate coated or uncoated?
How long is the product effective once it is mixed with water?
Once sprayed it works for about 30 minutes before it breaks down
Who’s your supplier ? I live in Connecticut. Would love to start using the eco friendly stuff. Thanks in advance
Watch the entire video and you’ll see who the supplier is. It’s the dude in the video. 🤔😁
Why don’t you use roof shampoo?
We can use this for house washing too?
Thats the big question..I dont see why not.I wanna try to downstream it one day..would just need a super hot mix to suck from.

As long as it is not mixed with water it has an indefinite shelf life 💪🙏
Does it get rid of the gloeo capsamagma?
it does but however it takes a bit longer to see results so I typically still suggest SH for tougher stains like that
Awesome work Spencer 💪 have you had issues before with blocked add accounts on Fb and what did you do to resolve it?

this isn't that new, I get a 5 gal bucket of the stuff at my local roof wholesaler. In BC though, so idk about the states.
Great vid
Wouldn't be allowed here in Uk. Contravenes all sorts of health and safety rules.
Nonsense
rubish
Thats is BS cause its safe to put in your mouth nose.
All this stuff will kill your shrubs and flowers.
That's addressed in the video. You can pre- and post-rinse or put a painting tarp over the plants if you want to be extra cautious.
