When I do my homemade pumpkin purée, I freeze them in 15oz portions because that is the weight of a canned pumpkin can. And when a recipe calls for a can of pumpkin purée, I just bring out my own pumpkin purée. Also this past time I added some honey butternut squash to my pumpkin purée. Great added flavor, texture and color!
Great job.. thank you for th Idea 💡🥰🥰👌
I’ve always froze mine in two cup (16 oz) portions but this year I’ve been trying to make other things besides just pies which require smaller portions, so after I roast mine this week, I plan to freeze in some smaller portions using silicone molds and super cubes - 1/2C, 1C, 2C.
Would you ever consider making a cookbook with all your from scratch recipes?
I think we all would like a closet hall or a wardrobe show
I love that green collared shirt she had on when advertising the vitamins.
@@Amanda-jd8xsit’s dress from sondeflor as far as I remember :)
@@Amanda-jd8xsit's the classic dress from Son de Flor
I love the green shirt you are wearing - where did you get it?
Ahh Sarah!!! I love this so much and I’m so obsessed with your content. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and so many other girls. You are so down to earth and so kind. I love watching you be a mom and it’s so wholesome. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
Would love a cook book of all of these! And also poke is not Chinese for future reference😂
😂 I paused what I was doing when I heard that and started giggling lol
I need to learn to pickle gingers tho!
Free palestine🇵🇸
Interestingly, here in Europe, the carving pumpkins are not edible! They look the same, but they are only for carving.
Your videos could not have come at a better time for where I'm at in life. Thanks for shedding such a positive light on homemaking❤
Those bagels look divine. Maybe I should’ve eaten before watching this video 🤤😍
I’m so sad that I cannot eat gluten 😢 All of these homemade baking recipes look so good. Gf is just not the same
Hey Sarah! Loved this video. Where did you get your toaster from? It’s so beautiful
Hi there! Which recipe are you using for the bagels? Thanks
Our super home maker with the cute haircut and amazing amber / gold eyes!
I would love the bagel Recipe! I use your bread recipe and my family loves it!
I had no clue how to break down a pumpkin for puree! Definitely will be trying this out 😮
love this! youre so beautiful :) it gives me motivation to do better at my job of being a mom!
I always set my “wobbly” muffin pans onto a baking sheet so it’s easier to pull in and out of the oven.
Would love to know the details on your compost pail. Maybe even an episode on it? I’ve been wanting to start kitchen composting but get overwhelmed with all the info out there.
Would love a video on Homeschooling tips as in materials, curriculum, activities etc. !!
If you go to her old channel "Sarah Therese " there's a full video on homeschooling
As a former homeschool mom (this year was my kid's first year in public school--I had a heart attack over the summer and couldn't continue teaching), I used Alpha/Omega curriculum, and my kid *could* have entered a grade ahead with how they placed with testing, but decided to enter on-grade for the easy As (and subsequent higher GPA since they also do extra curricular activities that are grade dependent).
Activities, I'm lucky to live in an area that has several Living History sites within a reasonable driving distance, and several more within a chartered bus distance-just hook up with several other homeschool families in the area and plan a trip every couple of months.
Materials, I'm oldschool, grew up in Africa. I can turn anything into a crafting project/arts project. :D But depending on age of your ankle biters, you can find all kinds of inspiration on Tabletop Miniature crafting channels, either for Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, or just Diorama and Dollhouse stuff.
As to actually teaching, from a *super* early age, I started teaching my kid how to learn. We're talking "first steps" young age, I'd have on nature documentaries, science shows, or one of our favorites was Carl Sagan's Cosmos. I'd read C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and T.H. White at bedtime. We'd go stargazing and planet hunting together. We still follow NASA's JPL news with great anticipation. When InSight sent it's final tweet (just a week after the kiddo's birthday), that was a moment in time for us.
I guess what I'm driving at is the main thing is teach your kids to learn to learn, and to love to learn, and it just sort of falls into place.
Also, that way, if you *do* end up having a major health issue like I did where you can't finish out their education at home, they're more than prepared for public school, will clean up the honor roll, run circles around their peers, argue with the teachers, correct the material, and fill out all paperwork with "According to the *text* this is the answer"🤣
I see why you are having pain in your hands/wrists Sarah . My gra'ma had this from all the baking and such. Please be careful with your joints. I notice you have soft, flexible ligaments (I am a yoga teacher). You could try some massage and Satyananda anti-arthritic sequence. 😊
What’s in the everything bagel seasoning that you made?
I’d love to see an video on how you teach your kids to do quiet time and how you teach them to entertain themselves. I love this idea and would love to teach my children this so they are not always at my feet saying they are bored!
I believe she has an old video on her old channel talking about that. I think it was back when she only had 3 kids
Keep telling them to go play when you are busy doing something and eventually they will. Lol
You are such an inspiration to me for homemaking. You make me want to be a better home maker for my family
I love these videos so much. They're so calming for my anxiety and inspire me to push past my depression and keep on top of my own house. ^^
Another fun , creative and informative video Sarah, thank you!❤🎉 Love you
Kids don't need multivitamins.
Just wanted to give an FYI. I was wondering why I was not seeing your posts. You Tube unsubscribed me from your channel. Not sure why but hopefully other will notice and resubscribe.
Sarah, how do you keep your towels so white and clean???????
Love all your videos and all the encouragement in being a wife and Mom
How long does homemade bread last?
Hi Sarah. Could you please link your bagel recipe 🙏🏼 really enjoying your videos ❤
Pro Choice
Ok.
can you do a video of just pumpkin recipes !? (:
I think that would be a really Cool Fall time video
Where can i get the bagel recipe?
Where is the mauve apron from? I would like to get one for myself. Thank you!
I don’t understand why she doesn’t show her children face !!!??
I love adding pumpkin puree like this into oatmeal. I freeze it in a silicone ice cube tray and they are perfect portions. When I have time I reduce it down into pumpkin butter which is so yummy on toast
Hi Sarah! Could you please make a video on where you shop for clothes? Would be grateful))
Hi Sarah, great video, where’s your pink apron from, looks lovely…
Ah, this is my dream, one day. I so enjoy baking and making things on my own. But in a college apartment with a baby on the way, we settle for homemade jam and some bread.
Careful with the mandolin. I sliced off a big portion of my thumb a few years ago and had to go to the ER.
Omg, those muffins! 😋
I have celiac disease - do you think I can make with gluten free flour or ground oats? Thanks so much💕
It's so good to see you again! I have been watching you since it used to be a makeup Channel which was so many years ago. And I have to say I love love this idea. It is so needed due to all the autoimmune disorders that are happening. It inspires you to want to go in the kitchen. And I would love I hear about what made you fall in love with your kitchen. To keep young mamas interested in it because it can be so exhausting. I also love that you don't show the babies cuz in this day and age it's crazy scary so that's also inspirational to other mamas but I'm so happy for you I love this idea I love sitting and watching you do all the stuff I have no idea you knew how to do all this stuff because you were doing all the other things LOL congratulations and it's good to see you again
We love your minimalism video please post that kind of video
Hello, thanks for another great content, when you meal prep, do you find it easier to tackle one dish / item at a time or multiple things at once. From your video, it looks like you may be doing one at a time.
Can you add some content on your homeschooling tips?? Please?
In US is common you eat a lot of bread or mass..it seem.
She's Canadian.
Would love a video on your favorite kitchen products/tools
The upside down olive oil was literally me today. Chin down on the counter measuring was also me today. I love your vids so much.
I love your table and chairs! Where did you get them?
I’d love to see the bagel recipe! I’ve never made them before and really want to try 😊
Does anyone else find her videos so relaxing or is it just me :DD
Thanks for the mayonnaise recipe. Great video!
Can i just use a regular blender for the homemade mayo?
Can you make the bagels without owning a bread machine?
excellent. Thanks for the vid.
Realy fun to watch ☺️ thankyou 💖🌸🥧🍞✨
So glad to have you back on RUclips sarah! 🎉
How do u keep such a flat tummy after 5 kids? Do u do any excersises?
Hi Sarah! Have you tried alioli??? It's a mayonnaise from Spain with garlic!! It is absolutely delicious and super easy to make!!
Love your videos❤❤
Aiioli is French honey 🌱
Ok but what is that black baking sheet?
Thank you for all the great ideas
Sarah, you need one of those cut free gloves 😂
I found this video very inspiring. Well done❤
Where did you get your green shirt?!
Molly her pigtails are so cute!! 🌸
Your blender hurts my eyes 🤣🤣 is it just me?
Where is your pink apron from?
Why do you keep saying bagels like that. It is pronounced “BAYGELS”. What on earth
She says that the E. Coast Way.
I live on the east coast and never heard that pronunciation. Someone said she's Canadian, maybe that's why
@@beans4853 oh, true.
Bagel recipe please.
Love this new channel for yours
💜💜💜💜💜
My daughter is dairyfree and I was wondering what milk brand you use and if there’s any dairy free cream… we enjoy your content together!
she posts about Silk brand a lot!
@@lobsterkitty7 thank you 🥛
Love this video have a question, why do you boil the bagel dough? I haven't seen that before, is it necessary?
It's actually the method bagels are made by and that's what makes them that texture
They're boiled, then baked 😊
I tried to get the vitamins but it doesn’t ship to Canada.
How come? Since she's from Canada.
I love these videos!
❤️❤️❤️
It’s not hard to can pumpkin if you know how to properly can. You just have to pressure can it.
I really liked this video and enjoyed watching what you make at home as opposed to store bought. The video also just shows the everyday flow of kitchen homemaking :) I’m in the kitchen a lot as well, it’s a constant but rewarding task
Your waist in incredibly small! I am so impressed you have five kids and looks that slender! Can you tell me your secret? I had 5 kids too but I look huge
We all have different body shapes to begin with. Be kind to yourself 🥰
yikes. shaming and inappropriate. If you believe that's the "goal" after having kids, maybe keep it to yourself. That is triggering to others.
