I bought my short hub a while back but finally got a wheel for it. I had to buy a half inch NRG hub spacer because the main bolt was a little too long and the horn was hitting it so it wouldn’t fit. So I fixed that. Then the issue with the blinkers not returning. When you take your steering wheel off there is a plastic ring with three little nubs sticking up. If you look at the bottom of the stock steering wheel there are three holes matching up with those so I believe all you have to do is drill new holes in your short hub for those nubs. I will update after I try it.
ya let me know what happens with the blinker return. i have the same issue but if someone could 3D print the ring that goes on the bottom of the adapter, then it would work for sure. they could model the one off the HKB adapter and it would work but I don't know how to do that stuff lol
That quick release is tight...I dig it.
Why did you need that small adapter? Could you have just used the big quick release? Send to be a little too high for you but like you said, "going with a flat steering wheel may solve it at least look & feel better. Bless up Yes package deals for us newbies. Mainly because we don't know what to actually get to start off. Deluxe package to include brake pads, rotors, front & rear shocks, lift kits.
Please note we have lost or losing a few good Sambarians (Ben, USMiniTrucks & Mr. Subaru) lol.
Their videos are good & so are yours, we need more so I already have stuff in my cart but it would be better with packages. Two months out before my Sambar arrives so I'm stocking up.
The big boss kit with a quick release is too tall and probably too tall even with a flat steering wheel. If they make a quick release that is an adapter already, i have not seen it lol. the problem with sambars is everyone gets super excited about them at first, obviously. its cool , unique and their very exciting. but eventually it becomes a toy when you realize they arent good for the freeway or going long distance. i mean you can, but i wouldn't. the motors werent designed for that kind of driving, so eventually they get old and we move on to something new, like those guys did. but i try to keep it exciting by always doing something new and offering parts. i try to put packages together but the parts sell so fast individually, it's hard to keep them in a group, but if someone asks, i will put a kit together for them :)
