Thank you for filming this very rare species of bus and the MAN ALX300s were my all time favourite single decker. I miss them so much and it's heartbreaking to see them being removed, withdrawn and scrapped - what a waste! I'm in Scotland where none of the remaining MANs are in active service but a few, are being kept then repainted into Training Vehicle livery. The rest are scrapped.
I to regret so many of these fine buses being scrapped... I rode this type of bus many times in my childhood (oldest one being from 2000 IIRC) and they were fantastically smooth buses, that's for sure. Even when being run experimentally with biofuel they excelled in service. I fondly remember the unusually long rear "parcel shelf", though I'd always get told off if I used that feature!
@@publictransportvideos4805 Yeah Stagecoach loved to keep its fleet young and fresh, and remove anything nonstandard... Real shame considering where I am now some of the local First buses are run by 52 and 53 plate Tridents a lot of the time!

I was on some in Barnsley in the scrap yards earlier. Even 07 plates in there
