Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed coming to the Louisiana Museum with me. In other channel-related news: I'm thinking of doing a Q&A/About Me video, so if you're interested & have any questions, please send them to me in the comments! Either here or any upcoming videos would be great 🙂 God weekend!
The Louisiana museum of modern art is such a pretty place and they usually have great exhibitions. Am I into modern art? Well sort of I guess. I will say some of it provokes me quite a bit because it subverts the idea of what I'd normally consider art. Have a great weekend, Erin.
That's very true! I think it that in a way, it can feel more accessible to people - there's often no right or wrong answer, it's how you personally interpret it or how it makes you feel. Thanks so much and you too!
@@ErininCopenhagen I get your point. I just remember last time I visited Louisiana with friends and one of the exhibitions were by Tal R who had painted these abstract pictures that in my mind might as well have been painted by a 4-year old. And that sort of confused me and made me question what is really considered art. If it's simply a circle-jerk of having a known name and being able to produce low-effort paintings which looks like children's doodles or if there's something I'm missing.
Erin, bring a compact umbrella if rain is a possibility in the weather forecast! Also, I think you need to go to the doctor - your thumb seems to be able to bend to much backwards, it may fall off! :D
Art … regardless of expression … is subjective. If you find it interesting, provocative, thoughtful, joyful, melancholic … or whatever … if it makes you feel … it’s art. I find modern art to be very interesting … and if it especially can make me try to reveal more about it, make me lose my sense of time, then I don’t mind spending an entire day sitting on a bench watching an installation of whatever. Kinda like looking for the artists soul.
I have to be honest here - I have never seen/been to a more boring place than the Luisiana museum! It's wonderful how ppl can make money out of everything...Great for them though!
