    Yet again some great tips. I tend to use a pencil to push the masking tape down helps to see where to cut.

    I recommend Mission Models Clear Primer..... Yes... A clear primer. ;P
    Paint the trim after spraying.

    I am curious can this be done after Future (pledge) has been applied?

      Yes, and to be honest for most aircraft and such you will want to do that first anyway as part of your normal clear parts routine, just to get the best looking canopy. I didn't do it here because I want the canopy to look scruffy and scratched anyway, and also I forgot ^_^ Some people also suggest sealing the tape in by spraying a gloss over before you paint, to stop paint getting under the tape, but I have not tried this as some paints (such as Tamiya clears) can go a bit weird sprayed over gloss.
