    Definitely I will consider stopping in Pawhuska when traveling... you have redefined how I pictured a boarding house room and stay. Mercantile’s have come a long way... that one also was a surprise!

      They have done an amazing job with the renovation - it was my first time staying in a boarding house and hopefully will not be the last, it was awesome! Thank you for watching!

    american country folk are so under rated. theyre the life blood of our country. growing up in manhattan & loving the city life...its like none other with all the continuous action & all the arts. i believed id never live anywhere else...BUT its just becoming a truly dangerous, dirty, & miserable place to live. although my parents made their careers here & i started mine there also, i realized it wasnt as exciting,fun, or safe for me anymore.
    so, ive just sold my high rise condo there, left, bought a home & got a great job in mckinney texas! the people here are wonderful, so welcoming, & happy, & so am i! i got out of my comfort zone & im loving it!

      Yay for stepping outside of your comfort zone!! That is awesome, glad you're experiencing the same Southern hospitality that we did... the people truly make the place 😊

    I wouldn’t give a nickel to the Drummonds. They own EVERYTHING in that town. And even in school their boys always got to be star of whatever team they wanted to be on. I would resent them if I lived there. Ree married into that family and that’s fine but I wouldn’t give them my business. I’m sure they could care less.

    She doesn't serve very large portions of food to her husband and children. It's like she's tight with food, like she can't afford to feed them enough. No wonder they are so skinny

    • @ChasingChey
      @ChasingChey  3 года назад +1

      That certainly wasn't a problem at her restaurants, we literally couldn't finish our dinners, they were massive! On her show it's either personal preference, or maybe smaller meals just look better on camera 😄

      I have another theory….they typically make more food than you actually see as the end product. To cut filming time, they place one item in the oven/fridge and grab another one that has already been chilled or cooked to continue filming. After all the takes and steps, perhaps they end up with three or four times the food we actually see on the program. And yes, the Drummonds are skinny, but they work their buns off taking care of their ranch, kids doing sports as well. ❤️
