I'm kind of new to all things artsy and I'm not sure whether I should get the Sakura Koi Watercolour set you're using here or the Akiyasha Watercolour Brush Pen Set (I think that's what it's called!). I would be using it predominantly for calligraphy, and the reason why I can't get both is because I can only find them at JetPens, and their shipping to Australia is around $13 and with the current exchange rate is a lot. I'd love your advice on the two sets and which ones you like the most!

Love watching you do calligraphy. The rainbow effect is wonderful! I've been planning to purchase either this Koi set or the Kuretake gansai tambi watercolors. Which has more paint in the little pans? The Koi set looks like it may have a very small amount. Thanks!
I think the Gansai Tambi set has more, however the price tag is greater because of it. The Sakura Koi set is relatively inexpensive for the great quality. It's more of a true watercolor (transparent), while the Gansai Tambi is a Japanese watercolor set, which leans more toward opaque colors (almost like gouache).
Thanks so much for the info, Kristina! That has really helped me decide. I prefer to use the more transparent colors so I think I'll go with the Koi and be able to use a Hobby Lobby coupon. Love being able to get a good product and save at the same time!!
+Spade Solitaire I did that so that it was centered. You count the number of letters (and spaces) and then determine the center. Then you write from the center out.
