I loved your video. I pray for you and all the other girls there, and also for all that are in training to join the Catholic church (to serve) Thank you to you all, and God Bless
I am finding this very interesting! I had no idea of what the process was! Very educational! I do hope your able to continue your updates! It sounds like you are finding the experience very fulfilling! Congratulations!
After living a life full of mistakes with children that hate me and everyone that loves Christ I can tell you THAT YOU HAVE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE! This life was a test and I know I failed but at least you are on the right track May God keep you and your sisters SAFE. Thanks for your courage and sacrifice!
al meggs You aren't alone in your feelings, please pray to Saint Monica, Saint Anne and our Blessed Mother they will help you. My prayers are with you all meggs.
Hi Peggy, with the Daughters the age limit is really done in an individual basis as circumstances vary. If you think you may be interested, you can contact Sr. Rosemary at our house in Chicago and she can talk with you in more detail. :-) I'll be praying for you!!
I think you still can. If you ever seen the movie with Audrey Hepburn she leaves but why would you break your vow to your God? These vows are no different than marriage vows. They are not just pretty words. This is why they set up things like a time of discernment and the whole process so when it is time to make your final vows you are certain. But I'm fairly certain that no one will keep you against your will.
mellyayble Owl is right, you can leave at any time. The whole discernment process takes about 8 years (or longer in some cases) and the hope is that you've have enough time by then to know that this is what you're really called to and that you're willing to remain committed to this life. It's the same as marriage vows - the goal is that you take them once and remain committed to them, but there are those instances where that becomes too difficult for some and they do leave.
I am trying to figure out how to spell 'posty'. Is that right? :) Just Christie might be easier. Love your videos. I am to the point I think I could amaze my Catholic relatives with my knowledge.
elnoralouisa1 Haha! That's probably how I'd spell it...but yes, Christie is probably the easiest ;-) You should challenge your relatives to a Catholic Throwdown ruclips.net/video/c9zeYyOdBU0/видео.html you'll have to mind the language a bit, but it's pretty hilarious if you haven't seen it.
Christie Young Well, I got most of them wrong. The problem was, right at the beginning he said there was a saint for clowns, and all the way through, I am thinking, really? a saint for clowns....I looked it up, guess there is. I used to belong to a clown church group that went to nursing homes, etc., centuries ago that is.....
@@maryanne2025 : they say that the Nun is the Bride of Christ. A Bride puts on make-up, has a nice hair style, puts on sexy underwear, indulges in sex with her partner, buys attractive clothes, enjoys social life, gets paid for her work, owns a car, goes abroad for a holiday, etc. But a nun wears dull clothes, her hair is cropped and hidden under the veil, works without getting paid, doesn-t put on make-up and has no mirror in her room. As a woman, she is made to bear children

The sisters who get up at 4:30 do so for a reason. That's "not your world""?? It WILL be.
