  • This webinar will cover the basics of Steam Turbines, with GE Switzerland’s Principal Engineer for Thermodynamics, Abhimanyu Gupta. Watch or listen in to improve and refresh your understanding and knowledge of steam turbine equipment, with a focus on:
    1. Thermodynamic cycles, cycle efficiency, effects of cycle parameters and plant types (Nuclear, Fossil, CC etc.)
    2. The basics of steam turbine design, sealings, thrust, blading types and casings
    3. Operational concepts for load control and inlet configurations, and their effect on heat rate

    combined power plants where nicely explained as they are the prime most requirement for the onboard ship applications and onboard cargo ship applications and ofcourse on the onboard defence vessels
