This is genuinely fascinating drama. Not saying I’m glad this happened, but it’s real life conflict between 3 very good players. And, I’ve never seen such a “fly on the wall” clip of drama like this. You read about it all the time on forums, X, Discord, or Reddit. But, rarely is there footage of it like this.

Imo I don’t think they respect bronzey enough As a coach unless they’re to hard headed cause if you notice with raven and tsm raven will say a comp to play and they’ll do it even if it doesn’t work out he’ll say another one and they still do it
IMO it's a mentality & culture issue.
If a team wants to succeed, they have to be willing to try out new things and hopefully find a combo that meshes with the team's playstyle/mentality. If the team isn't improving, it's falling behind because others are improving.
For culture, there has to be the understanding that when trying out new stuff, things are going to mess up here and there. Everyone has to be willing to discuss what went wrong and try to fix it. Can't be a ragebaby and blame others there. It just erodes morale and people get tired of dealing with it over time.

DSG has a major team issue. It's mostly Design and Enemy but the difference between the two is that Enemy doesn't straight up blame anyone while Design does. He doesn't give a shit and he's igl advice is shit.
Dezign's way of leading a rookie like Enemy is just plain stupidity. He can be like Hal when he flamed Evan for dumb mistakes, but Dezign isn't just doing that, he's legit shit talking Enemy even when it's not his fault, and completely shuts out anything and everything Enemy tries to say. Enemy as a rookie, needs to just be let loose. Let him do his thing, yell at him when he's being stupid but give him some proper fucking respect. Hal did this with Evan and that guy turned into a top 3 player in the world. You can't IGL your star rookie like you wanna control everything they do and then bring their self confidence down into the toilet when things go wrong. Dezign needs to grow up, and Timmy needs to step tf up and be a leader since Dezign is failing to do so. He can't just sit there and let Dezign say shit like that.
Seeing this makes me wish Timmy apryze and nicewigg could have another run together.

I been saying Design is the issue, he isnt as good as his ego thinks and he rages so much but unlike how hal rages Design gets no results, just spews toxic shit and ruins morale.
Who knows what he's like behind the curtain and everything... But the morale of the team currently isn't making it seem great.

For how long they have been playing scrims and everything, comp selection shouldn't really be a issue at this stage, them consistently changing comp leaves no room to actually improve using a comp but it seems they want to use a comp and immediately play good and dominate every time

I watch a lot of scrims and comp, honestly Dezign can rage and be toxic for sure, but a lot of times he’s honestly right. He consistently makes calls that get completely ignored and they die for it.
My observation
Most people who cry about Hal and Dezign in comments have never played an organized sport in their life. You NEED mixed personalities. You NEED that person to call out the bullshit.
So many people accept bullshit and say nothing about it
In organized sports, raging like desizn with get you cut or team will hate you. You better be Lebron, Kobe, Mahomes or Curry if you gone talk like that. I played sports my entire life and im not letting anybody yell at me but the coach idc who you are. we can talk, we can disagree but you will not belittle me unless you ready to fist fight. Yes teams fight in practice but fighting in an actual scrimmage/game is bad. Only in esports do people normalize "captains" being a-holes. I liked Wigg’s take. You are playing against the best players in the world in a game full of rng. Expecting to place at the top all the time is unrealistic. You will have stretches where you aren’t #1. Don’t overreact. Stick to a philosophy that is working for other teams. Spend time grinding TOGETHER. Wait it out. We’ve seen how Design’s teams fall apart many times in the past. We know it’s not his aim. They gotta get on the same page and trust that they are gifted enough for results to eventually come. Consistently adjusting your comp and style isn’t going to help the tension between you and the effect that has on comms and gameplay

i’ve been watching the dojo/dsg since timmy started last year in CC1 with lyric, and they’re not going to drop enemy. timmy and enemy were playing together and LF1 before dez joined the team, and i think that if they’re going to look for someone new it’ll be a new roller fragger and timmy will IGL. i think they should wait until after this split to make a change though

Been playing with my friends a lot of Apex for 5 years now, I used to be the one who rages on the team but actually call out the issue of the gameplay, but not calling names to my teammates friends and decreasing the morale of the team or rage quit (both cases are disrespectful behaviour) which causes a team to fall off, now I know I was playing ranked and not ALGS but still the rage fits will ruin a team is just a matter of time, used to think and still think Hal rages and trashes too much on Reps but they havent fallen off yet as Reps doesnt take it personally and outside of the game they are friends and not just teammates!
Its amazing for me that Hal is the very hot headed but does the right thing.
I only watch Hal & Evan as far as apex comp goes & after watching DSG throw over & over it really goes to show just how good TSM is. They’re levels above everyone with the exception of DZ
Dezign is too toxic to generate positive results with, & Timmy is too talented to be such a beta. All failure falls on Timmy's acceptance of it.

Could see dezign being dropped off dsg. The first introduction with the owner didn't go well, you can tell that that toast was bugged when dezign was flipping out on enemy. With this now, it could be realistic of them looking for a 3rd and if they can't find an igl timmy would be an ok one. He already does soft calls in game.

Igh imma say this there was nobody on there back which was good but Timmy had called that there was no one on there right which was true at the moment but regardless dezign should’ve scanned that way just in case because the teams that killed Timmy and enemy came from there right so he should’ve bang ult right and cat walk right so they have a opportunity to fight the team left
dezign overheats and makes way too many mistakes as blood, if he picks up cat then they have a player who can make calls on when to wall and push, instead of enemy waiting for orders and then its way too late..

I feel like design is trying way to hard to be like Hal hes spreading too much “passion” (just raging fr I tell people that shit just destroys morale) around Timmy seems like he has a lack of interest or passion in general because of design and the coach. Kinda like he has given up guess he foresees them getting sat tf down and sent home.
To me they all don’t respect each others opinion. Like Timmy said they all have strong opinions on what they should do. They obviously could care less what the coach says it’s like he’s non existent. One of them just needs to step up and listen to one voice and listen to the what the coach says. The coach needs to speak his mind too he seems too scared to tell these guys what to do.

trying comps for like less than 10 scrims isn't anywhere near enough of a sample size to figure out your comps. Losing =/= bad comp. When TSM started the valk/gibby/caustic meta back in like...season 12 or wtv. It wasn't about "trying it out" to see if its successful, it clearly was the best option just based on logic. Timmy says that "we tried my idea so I'm quiet now" (paraphrase), but just bc you don't place well doesn't mean the idea was bad, that shit would not fly in a scientific study trying to figure out the best comp. There's too little sample size and too much bias from all parties involved. So, instead, they should find individual metrics to figure stuff out and use logic for what would actually work.

I can see that but I feel like Timmy is a really good fragger and that’s why he plays with a super good support/anchor player being enemy. If tsm were to replace reps they would need someone whose an anchor as good as reps
