      @KeshaCollins  2 года назад +2

      Yes!! Honestly those times I fell off, and was eating whatever.. I continued to workout so I was able to put on muscle. So even though I was unhappy with myself at times, I was still transforming my body.

      @@KeshaCollins thanks for this!!! We also have a very similar body type so it’s really nice to see a curvy fit girl. I also had to accept that genetically, I could never be super lean, like those bikini girls. But you’ve given me new goals so thank you!

      @KeshaCollins  2 года назад

      @@laurenleavell_ of course! And yes that is a big thing, coming to the realization that we won’t have a certain body type. I know that I’ll never have the 24 inch waist with the 44 hips and that’s ok. I’ve been able to still build my curves in my own way.

    I LOOOOOOVE this story time with photos and vids, i hope you can do more. Thanks for sharing your story. I've struggled with bulimia as a teen and binge eating, under eating, crying over what i did or didn't eat. It's so crazy how food really is so psychological. But I'm making an effort to have a healthier relationship with food and my body. Thank you so much! And honestly, the workout side is different for me. Being active has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I don’t always lift weights, but I always have to move my body in some way (taking a walk, doing yoga, cycling). I love the way it makes me feel so I don’t really need motivation. I think it’s about finding what you actually enjoy doing. If you don’t like to lift weights, don’t do it. You can take dance classes, Pilates, literally any form of movement is great.

    I went from 150lbs to 108lbs in less than 4 months. I was working out like crazy and barley eating and convinced I was just loosing a ton of fat. Turns out I was loosing a lot of muscle and became “skinny fat” as people like to call it. I’ve spent the last 3 months attempting to undo the damage and trying to do my fitness journey right this time so I can build muscle. My weight is back up to 113lbs which scares me because gaining weight is usually talked about as a bad thing. But I’m trusting the process and trying to focus on how I feel physically instead of just the scale.

      Yes! 🥰 I would say if you are going to compete, do your research!! It’s very important to find a good coach, someone who actually cares about your health pre and post competition. Taking longer to prep and a slower journey is the best. The crash dieting is what messes a lot of people up. If you feel like you have a pretty good relationship with food, you will be fine.

    Did you ever worry about getting “buff”?

      Hi!! Welcome 🥰. And no not at all. I’ve been lifting for about 13 years, and yes I have visible muscle in my upper body, but I still don’t believe that I am “buff”. I still feel very womanly and curvy. Also if you ever feel like it’s too much you can always stop, or train areas less.

      @@KeshaCollins that’s great to hear!😊I know many women (myself including) worry about that and maybe feeling less feminine when they start working out. But screw that haha.

    Thank you so much for this video! Great content. Do you have any advice for someone who is on a weight gain journey? I lost a lot of weight after breastfeeding due to burning so many calories. I’m currently 139 and I’m 5’9. My goal weight is 160. Thank you again gorgeous ♥️
