    I usually do not leave comments but I like how you provide the essential information without explaining every fine detail while being honest on the pros and cons. Keep up the good work man!

    i subscribed to your channel when you spoke about reliability and read peoples comments. none of the review videos i've seen speak about reliability, specifically reading out community's complaints. highly appreciated.

    I wish you'd do a bit about splitscreen and whether or not the screen supports multiple inputs and can act like two/three monitors and such. Other than that, this was a informative and well thought out review. Soothing voice and tempo makes it a pleasant experience all around.

    I've been daily driving this monitor since it came out, while it is nice there have been tons of disadvantages and some that come with fixes. I believe the built in os isn't really useful and is instead a hassle especially when using display port or having multiple connections at once. In order to switch sources, you have to press the home button, wait like 20 seconds for it to load, laggily scrolling down in order to take a while to switch inputs. Going from 2 27 inch 170hz monitors has been awesome, but I have never really used the full real-estate unless I'm doing productivity work but instead go down to a smaller 21 by 9 ratio for gaming. In order to put it to 21 by 9, I had to put in a registry tweak allowing me to switch it to that. Other than that all the normal features of oled have been quite incredible and the hdr and widescreen movie performance is game changing. Thanks for this review it is very great.

    I do have to agree with the others. Really nice review. Espacially, are you focussing on points, I haven´t read anywhere else.
    But you do should´ve added the fact, that the monitor is not matt, but glossy. Which I really was locking for on a monitor for a long time!

    I really like this monitor. I wish it was bigger! It has few quirks like any other Samsung. No 4k, most of the time it’s 1440p and wish it’s a bit brighter. I have 2 OLEDs tv and it’s much brighter than the odyssey G9.

    The "G93SC" seems to be of such high quality, but when I look at the USB-C ports from Samsung, I have to say it sucks, that means USB-C cables don't hold up and sometimes fall off again!

    Just bought one today from Best Buy for $900, had to after my original 2020 G9 screen got smashed, this vid really sold me!

      Odd. Being it’s 1099 at Bestbuy at $700 off from the markup. Unless you somehow got an open box or refurb. Amazon has been the cheapest over the last few days at $999 after an additional 100 off coupon.

    Do you know the measurement from the base to bottom of the monitor when the monitor is at the highest position? 😅

    • @TechyTalkUK
      @TechyTalkUK  Месяц назад

      Sorry, no, that's not something I measured, and I no longer have the monitor. From memory, it drops very close to the desk - maybe 50mm above the desk - and has 120mm of height adjustment so that would put it around 125mm above the desk. But don't hold me to that. :)

      i prefer the 1800R. the 1000R is just too gamery and takes away too much space depth wise.

    4:44 STOP building SPEAKERS into monitors and increase the price and manufacturing complexity and therefore increase the price yet again because of that!! If you buy a $1200 monitor, you will NOT use built-in speakers!! You will have $400 headphones or $3000 sound system along your setup if you are up to buying such expensive monitor!! And why no option for buying a monitor without the stand?? The stand alone (pun not intended) costs a quater of the full monitor price. Garbage!

    • @mitchelldiaz1991

    to stop the flickers, you have to go to nvidia control panel, go to change resolution & use nvidia highest color settings 32 bit & 10bpc.

      most of the time I notice people complaing about flickering forget to turn on VRR on the monitor itself
