Slime Diaries is a good slice of life story just because it allows us to see our heroes in their downtime and the support staff like Kurobe get more time to shine. And yes we see new things about everyone we did not expect like Treyni being a possible cannibal with her obsession with potatoes.
It gives you so much more insight. My personal favorite is still Papa geld and the little goblin girl, his hate for snow and the cold and the fact that the otherworlder and Falmuth killed children when he punched the living crap out of Shogo. xD Also all the festivals they were having and the culture!

Can we talk about how slick Treyni is? I've watched this anime 3x and noticed how smart she is, by getting close to Rimuru, moving into his town, opened a bar without him noticing it. Befriending him, then allying with him, providing him counsel, and expertly positioning him as Head of the Jura Federation and doing her job of protecting the Jura forest for her!!!!! Also she has become a citizen of his village while allowing her sister dryads to watch over the forest for her!!!! Treyni is smart, she lets others do the work for her and she just runs a bar and chills. Why work hard, when you can convince someone to do the work for you?
Ah yes One of the most well-known yet underrated waifus in anime Treyni-chan Former Channeler of Jura Forest, Ramiris' personal bodyguard(spoiling her too much) and yes Potato Cannibal :3 She's one of the waifus with best introductions in anime Funni that she's eating her own plant family which is Potato

Your theory might correct about why Treyni didn't appear with the battle of Falmuth kingdom. Even Rimuru can't directly teleport inside the barrier. So, there is no way to pass the barrier for Treyni also.
Well done video as always. Love to see my favorite Dyrad get some shine. Treyni was able to evade the Tempest Scales from Charybdis, wasn't significantly injured from the eye beams that scatter magicules, and most importantly she was able to damage Charybdis with Aerial Blade. Treyni didn't go all out against Laplace the second time since didn't Unify with a Spirit King. She was only unifying with Sylphide so she was only barely Awakened Demon Lord level. Laplace himself is also around that level himself. But obviously his skills and experience are what make him dangerous. So its quite possible Treyni could have killed if she went all from the beginning and didn't fight a battle of attrition.
