lecrae prolly only artist I know that could rap and adjust to new eras of Hip hop rap style. I’m 17 as well, and yeah man I grew up with his earliest works. But yeah it is crazy to think how long that’s been, and it’s really odd to think that Lecrae, who’s if I can pick one artist that has been with me my entire life, it’d probably him, is now essentially done with the rap game, this being his last fully fledged album I’m assuming. It’s a bitter sweet ending.

Be the light that leads them to it. I’m 47 and I love CHH. If it wasn’t for it, I would still be in the world because I love rap music. So I bump it loud in my car, listen to it at work, and you’d be amazed, when people hear the beat drop, they ask who it is, and I’ll tell them it’s gospel rap, and they are shocked, because it goes just as hard. Man what a great testimony this album is, Love IT! True Christians aren't perfect and we need someone that will not just talk about all the good. Jesus is still with us in the bad, but as humans we feel alone sometimes as HE lets us figure things out. Lecrae writes to those situations. It's needed! Jesus didn't get up and leave Lecrae's music but his music covers those times when it feels like Jesus isn't there for us. True fans know this and never left you Lecrae!

I often ask myself how can I say I have faith in God, but when it comes to unexpected events I'm quick to fall back and blame God. As believers we need to embrace the uncomfortableness and hang tight onto God's word. Surround yourself in His word daily, talk to Him daily, and assure yourself that the God of the universe is victorious in everything He has made, and He's not done with you yet.
