My strato stopped working possible due to sweat or water. I completely tear down & reassembled as per video. Seems OK. Watch started with several problems 1. Not connecting to zepp, seems bluetooth not working, 2. Factory reset going direct to watch display, not going to language select and no QR code display. Any solution???? Or I had enough fun with Strato & time to gift it to recycle company with lot of love & respect 😊. Thank you.

Yes, if you give heat, then you can open it again.
T-7000 is the best

My amazfit gtr2's touchscreen is not working. I have tried reset several times & also have unpaired it now but as the touch is gone. I cannot do anything with the watch.

If heart rate also not working means its waterdamaged. Most of the battery drain case are like only. We need to inspect.
Generally battery will get from Aliexpress, but now a days they are not shipping to India

After changing the battery, the watch only turns on when charging. Do you know what the problem might be?
May be the battery not connected properly or check if the battery has enough charge with multimeter (3.7volt)

Is there a rubber gasket too? Just wondering about the "waterproofing/resistance" part. Would I need a gasket and T-7000 or would just the glue work?

My battery terminal was loose
And the watch was loosing display on its own
Now its alright
Great video mate. Only problems/risks with this are: no anti-static gloves (a must!), and no glue when putting it back (a must).

After several tries, the display with silvery octagonal base came off and the remaining electronics is still in the base below a black plastic panel that cannot be opened. My display has turned half silver and black. I think its completely damaged now :(

Yes, we can use fevibond glue, but again if you want to open... it is difficult

Very useful video for me as I am having difficulty finding a shop that can do battery replacement for my Amazfit Stratos 2. Need to DIY . Some questions : Final step, to install the compartment back into the screen, any special glue required ? What happen to the waterproofing once opened ?

I am using this glue, once u used this glue it is difficult to open it again.
If u apply glue properly for all sides, then it is waterproofed
@@diyeasy_in Correct. You could damage the LCD once that glue is applied. You'd have to take it a proper repair station that has even heat applied to remove it again. Alternatively, alcohol applied carefully around the edge can help soften the glue
Wow, absolutely amazing video. My watch is 3 year old. Unfortunately on rainy day, I forget to protect my watch. Next day, stopped working. I came across this video. Thought of try this before I scrap the watch. I completely disassemble my watch. Really no big deal. Anyone can do it. Bravo ! It's working fine. Just used hair dryer in case any moisture left. @@marianocampillo7790 yes, I am using the same T-7000, make sure to put the glue properly
1. Apply entire round area
2. Apply inside corner of the sensor plastic
3. Keep in mind there is a small hole on the side of the watch
