I can confirm that the buttons are too easy to accidentally press while also being hard to press when needed. I however disagree with the statement that the analogue clock is useless - it makes the watch what it is and is the reason why I bought it - I don't ready it usually, but sometimes it is a good representation of how much of a full hour has passed already. Great mod of course.
I'm glad you resonate with the issues I faced! 😁 You raise a fair point about the analog face 👌 I've heard a friend tell me as well that an analog dial is a great way to visually divide up an hour into segments. Glad you enjoyed the mod. Thanks for weighing in Samo! 🙏
I'd love to see this watch in a chromed resin case with metal strap and with the known issues solved, this would then the perfect alternative watch for me, along with the loved AQ-230 models!
A countdown timer doesn't need hundredths of a second (it's not milliseconds). It's only counting down to zero. A stopwatch can arguably make meaningful use of the hundredths of a second value.
@goatreviews I thought the blue you used was solid but I'm a fan of green also... uncertain but I'll def hit you back when I get it put together my friend

I was let down by quite a few things with this watch. Especially the lens getting so scratched in just 7 days! Great question, Davide. 🙏 Surprisingly, the colour filter has had minimal impact! The glass, as a lot of low price tag Casio is in ScratchPlastic©, a new material that materialize scratches on the glass even if you keep it inside his box!
The analog screen is barely usable, not only for the quarters issue, but even for those thin, spiderweb-like digital hands.
The upper right circle is... Ok, useless but I appreciate it as a decoration!
Like the world map in the Royale, to be honest...
For the pushers I can't judge them, I've only played with this watch for 30 minutes, but they seem like the f91w pushers, basics and... and that's all folks!
When I see those protruding pushers I think about the people moaning against the G-Shock design...
All in all, the mod looks really good, expecially the NATO strap with the adaptors. I'm not 100% sure about the colored film, how's going with the amber backlight? And, you can try to paint a part of the internal case to stop the light bleeding, why not? 🤔
For the day/date issue, I can feel you bro, I have the same disappoint (Italy here, I have seen the swappable day/date only in the module of G-Shock GW-M5610U-1).
