Parents from MS and I'm from Memphis TN... that being said... chicken salad has grapes and almonds and mayo season as you wish. Tuna and Egg salad has sweet relish in it. Also another egg salad is egg and olive with mayo. Hope this helps some people. I'm loving this channel after teeth extractions. Wish she would do more.
Hi, I've loved this egg salad and chicken salad, have big pig roast coming where also BBQ chicken ect.. first time grandsons running it and I observe, did test run with them on BBQ chicken last night, I pureed it like this with my sauce, and was great, still tastes same, was afraid cuz fat would get gummy, but didn't, I shredded some but was still difficult 🥺, remembered this video. Tyvm. Hope doing well.
This is why I love 💕 Sherri. Straight to the point. No rambling on and on 🙏🕊️. Like I said. I just got my small food processor and definitely trying a recipe tonight. And I will let you know how it goes 💐💐💐💐🙏🙏🙏
thank you for these videos, my Friend has cancer in her jaw and the radiation burn her all the inside of her mouth and she cant chew, so ill be making some of these meals for her.
Sherri, Thank you so much for all your videos. I can eat regular food, but I accidentally choked on food & prefer eating a no chew diet when it comes to meat, eggs, salads & fruit these days. I love all your recipes & tips!
Hi Maureen, Thanks for your comments. I'm not doing videos right now, but I occasionally post a recipe on my Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/NoChewFood. So check that out. And maybe someday I will resume the videos.
Been making egg salad but been wanting bbq chicken. I was going to cook in crockpot with bbq sauce then puree. I see you poach first so may try that. Sure wish you still made videos. Was diagnosed with dysphasia and can only eat soft or pureed food.
Hi again, Marsha. Yes, I've found it's best to puree the meat first with just enough broth or water to get a firm consistency. Then transfer back to your pan and add whatever sauce you want. That way you can control how much sauce you add so it doesn't end up too soupy. I do my spaghetti sauce this way too; cook the ground meat with onion and garlic first, then drain the grease and puree. Then add tomato sauce and spices to the pureed meat in a skillet and simmer for a little while. Try beef stew by cooking the beef tips with onion and garlic as your normally would, then puree and spoon over mashed potatoes with a side of pureed carrots. I do a lot of meats by spooning them over cream of rice or mashed potatoes. I will add these ideas to my Facebook page if you can access that. All the best, and happy cooking!
I would normally add sweet pickle relish for some zing. But the vinegar gives it the zing without chunks of pickle. You could just add the juice from the relish though.
Hi Jessica, I poach it first. Start with a little olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cook for about 2 minutes. Then flip them over and add some water or chicken broth (about 1 cup or more if you want more juice). Then cover and cook on low until chicken is no longer pink in the middle (about 10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts). Let it cool a little bit, then puree using the liquid to aid in the pureeing process. But you can also just boil any type of chicken you want. I think the poaching just seals in the flavor better. Hope this helps.
Yes, here is a link to my pizza video. ruclips.net/video/rJ6U2sI7gFI/видео.html&ab_channel=SherriSmith You can also do a chicken/barbeque pizza. Puree some chicken, add bbq sauce, and top with pureed pineapple (if you can tolerate that) or just drizzle some pineapple juice over the chicken. Sourdough works best, but you can use any type of soft bread. Let me know if you have any questions.

I use boneless, skinless chicken breasts and poach them. Put about 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and heat the oil. Then add the chicken and brown on one side for about 3 minutes. Then turn the chicken, add about a half cup of water, and cover. Simmer on low until chicken is no longer pink in the center (about 20 minutes). Cut into the chicken and continue simmering if still pink. Here is a link to my video for , showing how to poach chicken. ruclips.net/video/cPgjsdlrJkE/видео.html&ab_channel=SherriSmith. Why do you add the vinegar, and how does it affect the taste?

Sherri are you on a pureed diet?
1:09 How do you make the pureed chicken and do you boil it first?
