That little pocket watch looking thing is a sovereign case! The idea was you'd use it to put a few coins in there back when a small handful of change could get you all your groceries on an outing, then hang it from a watch chain, a necklace, or a chatelaine belt.

I love owls as well! I always have since I was a kid. Once as a kid a barred owl flew down and landed right in front of me and the silly guy had one wing up and one wing down because he was so surprised that I was there 😂We hear them sometimes at night and it always brings me such joy. 🦉 Thank you for inspiring me to start up my grimoire again! Decided to get a binder similar to yours because its just so much easier to move pages around haha

Although I wouldn’t wish this on anyone I’m touched that you enjoyed my book and love that you understand why I would include the tower and my illness in my witchcraft. Some hopefully helpful advice for removing your butterfly sticker: try using something blunt and flat to gently scrap the sticker and residual adhesive off the leather without damaging it. Something like a cuticle pusher, (think that's what it's called)
Also, with calling it your book of shadows or grimoire, bottom line is it's YOUR BOOK call it whatever you like. I call mine a book of shadows even though I don't practice traditional Wicca.

The little locket looks like a sovereign holder or for 1/2 sovereign coins. I tried a ring binder but the holes wore out and I wanted a proper book, that 1st binder is the front and back covers of my current book of shadows, it feels right that way.
@@SandWitch-y6m ohhh that’s interesting bout the coin thing 🤔 might do some more research on that! And yeeeesss good point I had that same issue the holes got torn sometimes cause I wanted more inside than the book allowed haha I ended up having to tape stuff and fix stuff got a bit messy. I think I like the freedom of moving pages but proper books are just as cool!
It's a pentacle if it's just the star if it's in a circle it's a pentagram just to let you know❤
I'm almost certain it's the other way arround but now i'm confused XD - had to google it and it's saying Pentagram 'without circle' and Pentacle 'with a circle'! 🤷♀❤ (they need to make all these symbols easier hehe)

@@angelbabesuz1612 thank you so much ☺️ ❤️ the feather I got is a pheasant feather, where I live in the countryside they are quite easy to come by in the wild so that’s how I got mine. I believe you can buy them online as well if needed! Hope that helps 🪶 also yay for Scotland! 🏴

I love this! The binder itself was is a planner binder at one point? I'm looking into the binder method for a bos and wanted a removable method. I'm looking for a pretty binder or trailers notebook style. My other question is where did you purchase the binder itself?
@@kirstenbuckhalt5280 Thank you ☺️ umm.. from what I can recall I bought this book from Amazon, and it came exactly as it looks, ring binder with brown paper inside I believe. I took most of the original paper out and swapped them with other types of paper cut to size etc. The tarot pages are on the original brown paper for example. Let me have a look and see if I can find anything similar and I’ll pop a link down for you 🤔

There's the eye of Ra and the eye of Horus I don't know what they are used for
Oh yeah true! The one I drew looks a lot like those two, but I think my intention was the eye of Nazar 🧿 aka evil eye! But I think all those eye symbols do the same thing which is a form of ‘protection’ 🤔 ❤️
