They hated each other . Anthony Daniels thought Kenny Baker was not a real actor. Baker said he was mean and rude to him.
Had a chance to meet Mr. BAKER in Columbus ,Ohio at Marcon. I have his name badge Autographed!
What was he like? I've heard he was lovely and not stuck up unlike arrogant anthony
But it course this is only stuff I've heard and read so maybe I shouldn't listen to what others say?
I don’t know what it is about Anthony Daniels, but I’ve never liked him as a person. I’ve heard mixed tales about him - some fans have said he can be incredibly friendly, and others have said he’s incredibly arrogant and rude.
Either way, while I like early-era 3PO, (for the record, I loved the sequels and - at the time anyway - the prequels) I found the latter representations of the droid incredibly annoying - partly down to the script no doubt, but also in Daniels delivery in that he seems to end up doing an imitation of himself.
My distaste for the man probably boils down to the awful way he treated Kenny all those years. I’m sure Kenny had his moments too, but I’d bet my left nipple that 9 times out of 10 any issues they may have had stemmed from Daniels being a total jerk.
Long story short, I don’t think Kenny *ever* looked a gift-horse in the mouth, I can’t say the same for Anthony.

Anthony Daniels best work was in "I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle".
As Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) said in an interview once, these two could have toured the world together as a double act and made a fortune. But they could just not get on.
Mainly Anthony Daniels saw Kenny as a complete joke. He couldn't take him seriously in any capacity, least of all as an actor, and felt that the idea of him touring with Kenny was utterly beneath him. Kenny really wanted to tour with Anthony too, but Anthony virtually laughed at the idea.
