They had a diesel manual 6 speed, and didn't import it to the U.S.? What gives? You can't even find manuals in the U.S. anymore. I had to go 2 States over to get my '17 Crosstrek used with a 5 speed manual. The '18's had a 6 speed option, supposedly, but no dealers had one.
The idea is not the same. While the SUVs are designed as SUV from scratch , Subaru's ( XV and Outback) are normal cars just with more ground clearance. Therefore , they have less total height than the SUVs and i like that. A Peugeot 3008 is certainly more spacious and confortable than a XV but does not have neither 4x4 , neither the same off tarmac capability as an XV. The XV is just an Impreza with more ground clearance, that's it.
Don't understand why the North American Crosstrek model was downgraded no 6 speed gear box cheap interior cheap sound system and no diesel engine vs Crosstrek models in other countries.
The thud from that door everytime tells me all I need to know about that interior 😊
