Dude, this game is phenomenal! I don't even like "realistic" sports games, but I love this. It feels like the arcadey soccer games of yesteryear, easy to pick up and play but hard to master, incredible depth... even for people who don't like sports games, FIFA 18 on Switch is a great buy.

Marc, one tip for you, if you wanna save a ball as a goal keeper you need to dive with the right stick and not the left because your saves were auto saves.
As a rushed game for a new console it’s amazing they may have not included motions because they don’t have in the switch frostbite as their engine the new career mode isn’t there and the journey isn’t but as a portable gaming this is a beast
For Christmas: Fifa 18 on the Switch or Xbox 1, bearing in mind I will use the portability a lot but I have a few friends with it on the Xbox 1 and the graphics are like 4 times better...

i just got this and i gotta say i feel a little underwhelmed, the game feels like an upgraded version of the old fifa on vita rather than a slightly downgraded version of the current fifa on ps4

Why can't they try to deliver a similar console experience on ios , just like they have of the switch? Phones are constantly improving performance wise, this also looks so much better than fifa mobile.
Mobiles are not created to excel at gaming performance, whilst the Switch is specifically meant to be specialised in that area, so ideally it would perform much better than a mobile version. The CPU in mobiles are comparable to others, but the GPU is where mobiles fall flat compared to the Switch. A game like DOOM or Zelda BOTW could not be successfully transferred to mobile, especially with the best performing phones in the market (sadly iPhones) not even having upgradable storage so a game like DOOM even if made the platform would take half the storage already unless you buy a 256GB model. But if you plan to use the phone as primarily a gaming console, that storage would be eaten by 5 large games already.
TL;DR: lack of available storage and competent graphic cards are the main reason phones will not dethrone console gaming.

Bought it yesterday for 50€. I like it, because its so arcady compared to its Brothers on Ps4/XboxOne. Played it with a friend of mine who ownes the PS4 Version. He ordered a Switch yesterday. :D

I just picked this up on the Switch. The last football game I played was PES about 10 years ago and I nearly fainted when I saw there were several pages of controls to learn. How gaming has changed 😕, and not for the better IMO.
