Bought the game a few days ago, i've learned to farm and cook and i do that on every life, i always try to let the pantry filled with diferent pies and the mess hall tables loaded with tacos and burritos
I feel like I know that mom. I haven't played Ohol in like 3 months. But I remember this one mom always asks if you're new. Tells you what your craving is. Awesome mom. When you get a mom like that. You know you are loved and in good hands. I haven't slept in like 3 days.
ye I saw someone destroy eve grave so they could chop all the trees in the forest she planted to provide firewood to the nursery just so they could get achievement. I asked them what they were doing and they got swear at me. you can see player's lives and achievements on OHOLCurse apparently they are the most voted trusted vet player in the game which is wild
14:03 Ducks and geese are actually different. Geese are larger and have longer necks. Although the classification of "duck" is a form taxon, meaning that it's not strictly based on biological relationship, but more on their form and ecological role. Duck, goose and swan are all classifications of water fowl in the family of Anatidae and the primary way scientists distinguish between them is by the number of their neck bones. Ducks have 16 or fewer neck bones while geese and swans have have 17-24. Swans belong to the genus of Cygnus, which is more distinct, but the difference between geese and ducks is fuzzy at points. So yeah you were kinda wrong but at the same time completely right because the distinction between ducks and geese is honestly mostly vibes based and doesn't reflect any strict biological category.
@@TwistedHBG Might get a couple neck vertebrae cut... Idk, just felt like going for a different look. (If you chop off a goose head in OHOL, do you turn it into a duck?)
Canadian here, can conform- ducks are not the same as geese. Geese are murder chickens that fly. They will kick your ass for looking at them wrong. Ducks are cute and mostly smaller and eat snails and bugs.
I've randomly started watching videos for this game the last few days, and I've seen several of your videos in particular. Is it worth picking up as a completely new player? It looks interesting. Seems like it has a pretty small community, which is either good or bad haha. It's averaged 50 players concurrently in the last month. Do you get to know the other players over time, or does the game make it hard to do that since you don't know who your parent really is or anyone else in the community?
If you like what you see in the videos it's 100% worth picking up. The community is not big BUT it doesn't really matter - since towns usually cap out at about 15 concurrent players there is not much difference between there being 50 people on the server and 5000 people on the server, especially for a new player who is not trying to do metagaming shenanigans. Also this game is seemingly immortal - it came out 7 years ago and not once has the player count gone down enough for it to make a be noticeable, there is always people playing and families doing their thing. There are mods and discords that let you get to know the other players over time if you want, or you can stay anonymous and enjoy the unknown every time like I do.
Basically every video has music at the start though! I did mess with my audio levels a bit so maybe in this vid it's louder/more noticeable than before?
I actually had the same thought again recently, I even mention it in a future video (I think the next one?). This is the THIRTEENTH time in a row that I've spawned as a girl, which is just incredible
Maybe im saying bulls*** but since you are a expérience player, doesn't it makes sens that the game gives you that Gender? You are probably more able to make a Colony thrive than Any of us

On the wild goose chase for mercury
@@Scubasteve402 it would've been super funny if she was really Jason Rohrer, and hacked mercury into the game just to troll twisted.
Mercury survived till old age and propagated the family for generations.
I'm addicted to these videos of yours lol
Just fyi it never ends
Love these videos and your ongoing frustration with the biomes in this game.
Also, eggs regenerate every 20 minutes so long as the pond has a goose.
No, eggs don't regenerate ever unless you domesticate the geese and feed them
that's a 2hol mechanic afaik
I was screaming at you to tell them to get apples haha
