- Part of the saltoogasquad (me and Donnie ) went out to Navarre Florida to target kings, Mahi Mahi and sailfish. Donnie hooked up with a massive blacktip over 6 ft. I had so crazy underwater footage but the sd card was corrupt. Hope you enjoy this video don’t forget to **LIKE COMMENT SUBSCRIBE **

That was awesome! Way to keep your cool & get the fish to the boat with all the gear getting in the way. And it's crazy how close you're catching dolphin. Here in SC, we gotta go 40-60 miles out.

Heck yea man! Me and my buddy went offshore at Ft Pickens in the kayaks on that day, trolling for kings, we just got into a bunch of big spanish. It was just great to finally go offshore. Ill have to give Navarre a try this weekend! Need to get on some Mahi! Nice vid man!

where do you store your battery for the depth finder. The circle hatch? Ive seen most people move it up front and install a rectangular hatch in the middle. Just curious!
It’s in the circle hatch for now until I install the rectangular hatch

Did you say you were using 10lbs braid?
Yes on my penn conflict 2500
Any special reason for that? I have alway been under the mind set that you can beef up your braid poundage for extra security bemaller diameter compcause of the sared to mono of the same poundage.
David Kile 10 pound braid has a breaking strength of almost 20 pounds. But on my smaller reel with the 10 pound braid was plenty strong enough to catch the Spanish and Bonita. I even caught a 54inch king mackerel with 10 pound braid (its in one of video ). But in my bigger reels I run 30- 50 pound braid usually
You don’t need any braid or mono stronger than 40 lbs in a kayak because the fish will start towing before creating enough tension to break the line. I’ve caught 40 lb shibi on 30 lb line easily.

About a 1.5 off the beach doesn’t take long at all
