I'm an Indian expat currently staying in SG. Worked in CapeTown for 1.5yr in my past, I really miss the breeze/clouds from TableMountain. The house doesn't need any ceiling fan, just open the window and be chill. Missing TableMountain, Singal Hill, CampsBay, V&A WaterFront, Spicy sauce in Nandos, etc. I will definitely go to SA once this covid thing is over :)
Such gorgeous shots of South Africa! What a beautiful place. Hope you get to return home and be with your family soon!!! We have all had enough of all these travel restrictions :(
I like how we can make fun of most things back in those days too. Nowadays everyone is upset and offended by almost everything people post online when something is seemingly harmless. Like how you have to specifically say it's no a comparison video at the start cos i'm sure somehow some people will take it the wrong way.
@@intheworldofmari Darren:You may share with us on how you stretch your dollar in Singapore compared to South Africa (etc food, fuel, pet grooming, cars and housing)
I can understand you when you said you miss home. Long time ago, when I was going to marry to someone far away, the feeling of leaving this multi cultural food and life to a single boring food country was unthinkable. It was great when ex in the end decided to move here instead. So I know what you miss when you said you missed. I like Africa too. Just that haven’t had the chance to go there. I like what you show here about South Africa. 😀
If food too expensive here, why not you find some recipe to create it? I helped my ex in his meatball and he was happy for a long while. The rest of the foods was easy to cook for him as the ingredients were not difficult to find.
you're doing a good job to show us south Africa.. western press ''can'' and ''do'' distort all countries outside their borders all the time.. south Africa its a beautiful unusual country.. i had a best friends once from port Elizabeth.. and i know quite a few from cape town.. when you do go there again please make video's about the Malay's in cape town.. we too once had Woolworth where i'm now in England. they've gone kaput bankrupt over a decade ago.. but they were not up market store like those in South Africa and it look really quite posh too.. do you watch ''jerry Goode'' channel.. he's a South African too.. i like him really chatty bloke..
hi, I am currently a student and I plan to study in Cape Town for my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, specifically UCT, any tips for first timers going to cape town?
In my opinion,no matter how beautiful or good other country is,but the best is the place where we come from...home sweet home..im comin home, comin home ,tell the world that im comin home...hahahaha
Every since I got to know Trevor Noah from the Daily Show, I've harboured the thought of travelling to South Africa. He's changed my view of your country. The media has for so long portrayed South Africa in a bad light. I'm on halal diet. Is it easy to get halal food there?
I was a flight attendant for many years with SQ.. I have since left the aviation industry but somehow, South Africa particularly Cape Town, will forever hold a special place in my heart..💜💜💜❤❤❤
thanks for sharing! south africa looks awesome!
Thank you🙏🏻

South Africa is so beautiful! 😍
thank you! it really is such a beautiful country!
Take me with you! It looks so cool 😍
Let’s go!! 😁😁😁🌎🌎🌎
Road trips are so fun. Pity that isn't something Singaporeans can enjoy within the little island.
Omg I love biltongs. And bunnychow too!
Isn't Woolworths (Woolies) just a supermarket? At least it is in Australia
Woolworths in South Africa is very similar to Marks and Spencer and not like the Woolies in Aus... you are spot on about the bunnychow.. yummmm!
I've read so much about biltongs... you can make it out of any game meat, right?

Cape Town is truly magical - so much beauty and delicious wine!
Do you think I will get rich selling durians and mangosteens in South Africa?🤣🤣🤣😲😲
ooooohhh If I ever move back to South Africa you definitely will! hahaha
I would definitely buy durians ! I have seen mangosteens here in SA
South Africa is now in turmoil. Riots and looting. Please get more information about the situation before you decide to visit. Be safe.
Yes unfortunately South Africa is struggling with a lot at the moment... But still, it is a beautiful country and I do miss my family there...
Not all South Africa is in turmoil. Looting happened in localized areas. Most of the tourist areas are safe.
