I've stayed here multiple times for various vacations my family's taken, and all 4 times, the fire alarms went off. Once it even happened twice in one night

I'm guessing it's louder than what it sounds like on the video but I'd definitely rather have a Voice-Evac system than a Simplex 9806 or 9838 in Continuous.

I have to be honest, I went to the Luxor, many, many times in my childhood and I'm surprised i havent been there a single time when the alarm has gone off O_O its so weird. Also off topic kinda but I remember liking how quiet those tower rooms were compared to the pyramid, the nostalgia hit me for some reason there (except for the faint alarm noise you still hear there), but regardless, hope it wasnt too obnoxious kjcvjdndjxn (also I stayed there recently and I don't know why they dont have stairs except for emergency stairs, its rather odd)

Wow 😮 that would have gotten to my PTSD if I was there I would’ve been checking out
They should have at least notified people that
    they were safe
And no one’s life was in real danger I’m guessing that maybe someone got pull happy and maybe pulled the alarm themselves a lot of people do that for laughs but in reality it’s sad 😢because some people do live with PTSD and it can have trauma and traumatic triggering emotions and episodes for some people and the flashing lights I understand are for the people who are def and can’t hear but those lights flashing can also cause a person who has epilepsy to potentially have a seizure

This happened to me at the exact same time. It was barely 5AM when the alarm went off. I was staying with one of my friends and her mom, and the friend was VERY scared. I mean I wouldn’t blame her because we were on the 15th out of 16th floor. So we walked Al the way down and sat in the cold in our pjs. 😵‍💫
