We have more than enough Constantins on earth lol. Isn’t honest with others, only interested in himself and doesn’t want to take responsibility for what he’s done. It’s like “local man did this and that” in America. Pretty common even.

@@Latveria_Library I went to a convention up their with my Dad. He was doing a meet and greet. I was in awe. He was friendly but has a real imposing look in his eyes. I’ve never watch the movie but love the novel. Really enjoyed your video aswell. Hope to watch more of your content in the future. Good luck on your journey brother ✌️

It's like in the HBO True Detective series with the Rust character, smoking is related to seeing the other realms since it creates the coal mine effect in the lungs. It's a Maverick thing - Mave = Maven (Scarlet Witch) and Rick = straw (man) so it's all smoke and mirrors that allows you to transcend. Usually someone who chain smokes (ftr chain - chained to the devil) is already a part of a cursed blood line, but we all serve God whether you deny it or not so, it's a thing. And yes, I speak from experience. In the Wizard of Oz, the Wicked Witch lights the Straw Man's arm on fire - a Fire Arm - so our Fire Arm is more effective against the forces of evil than the mankind version.

Yeah I was tired of hearing nothing but negativity torwards comics so decided to highlight the positive to counteract it!
My favorite issue is Critical Mass. It's the culmination of everything he ever worked for after the Newcastle incident.
And it's objectively better than what Arrowverse did to Astra's character, which can best be summed up as "hard retcons bordering on a full rewrite".
Going to pitch it right now for a t.v. show usinc Jamie Delano's run on Hellblazer as a basis - Wriiten and Directed by Shaun Medows ( This is England and Dead Man's Shoes ) John Constantine played by Tim Roth as an older Constantine making his last stand reflecting on his life. Get various actors to play him at different stages of his life. Call it Constantine - Memories of a Hellblazer.

We don’t need more tv shows about “superheroes”. None of the recent ones even understood their characters. They’re all out for money. Stop asking for stuff like this unless you want the story and characters to be ruined.
One small detail: Astra was dancing. Dancing to the recorded screams of her father and his cult.

Eehh too suave. The John I know is a little...well eglier. Not to putt too fine a point. And not so chipper. Even the actors disposition is too energetic. But maybe I read old John too much.

Hope to see more. Tho idk if you take requests but i cant find the Darkness comics anywhere and ive read some the lore but theres a lot of spin off series with it thats super obscured. Id be greatful if you could explain the story of Jackie Estacado since hes not as well known deapite his crossovers with batman and super man ❤

Hmmm I've actually never read the darkness by I'm always looking for new stories it's the best part about having this channel lol. I'll try hunt them down and starting reading through them/the spin offs and try to get a video out (although it could be awhile) :)

Always been a fan of the more “edgy” stuff of either Marvel & DC. It’s a shame that stuff like this doesn’t get enough love in live action.

I'm a fan of contemporary fantasy and occult detective comics. But characters like Constantine and Cal McDonald are kinda like most modern super heroes. Not allowed a ounce of happiness.
Ehh most of the time yes but it's kind of his on fault for the most part but I will say he does get a few happy moments throughout the series at the of Garth ennis run hes really in a good place

The original hellblazer run is still favorite American comic series of all time. If you like constanien read the dresden files novel series you will love it

I never liked Constantine Vertigo, I prefer Constantine DC for one reason: Zatanna.
Epiphany Greaves, Kit Ryan, Dani Wright and others there was no one in Hellblazer that you were rooting to end up with he. That wasn't the mechanics of the story.
Zatanna is the only person who can get around Constantine's "curse", which means she can marry John without/with no problems!
I love JohnZee deeply. There are no other comic book ship that I like as much as I like Zatanna & Constantine.

i think thats part of what makes him likeable, its rare to see a main character in a comic series thats like that and he feels much more realistic than most :)

There's some open & unresolved plot matters include chronologic & involved with SOTST. I realize vampires aren't really involved (considering all else encountered & must comprehend if ever while accompanying the Hellblazer😁), but that was too brief an encounter & quickly dispatched the prince of darkness & that coven, beside exploring possible depth although mebbe already another franchise I'm unaware. But with that, I'm trying to recall the chronology when did Constantine blood get altered in relation to involvement with Abby & else (I'm reserving explicit details to not spoil anybody yet start with Hellblazer)? Had to be prior cause that would be an influence upon what's "exchanged" being a bodily fluid (like blood components) beside I'm at a loss about how their involvement happened at all? I'm further unaware of their children & the Alec & Abby saga although aware of the mage's progeny,😈👿😈 ... Still those events happened either issue 8 & 10, really near in time & serial, but unsure whether there was any revision or juggling universes happening else part of suspense. Mebbe this discussion could provide insight😁
yeah i go over more with the cult and the green in my avatars of the dc universe video also i really hate spoiling to much i want to give enough to get people interested so they will pick up these stories and read them in full so maybe they will fall in love with them like i did maybe ill go alittle more in depth in future videos thank you for the advice! are you talking about in issue 12 when nergal injects john with his blood? because thats after the alec and abby cross over i dont want to spoil
also i feel like that is more of a swamp thing story so i was saving it for my eventual swamp thing video since hes my favorite character and thats a major plot point for him
Thx, it seems your presenting some background from Swamp Thing then crossing over with early intro especially around the cause in confronting the Damnation Army that continues past initial Hellblazer issue. Also, prolly need clarify Constantine mostly based in England & Papa Midnite in New York City so they aren't really involved that much, but there's substantial character insight or enough to provide, albeit briefly, a relatively stark moral distinction & comparison about ethic, action, & purpose involving or invoking magic, sorcery, & witchcraft between Midnite & Constantine, compared with the ambiguity gray & murky aspects that will get often presented so beside aging, we are presented wisdom through all the encounters, also supposed to be a virtue but another aspect which introduces ambiguity & risk in attaining or enduring experience & means (grolimoire, lost Gospels, myth, ...) that knowledge, skill, & capability, such as controlling moral hazards of absolute power & corruption. Anyway, early issues reflect upon Constantine's youth, even with Gaz (Gary Lester), so there's another aspect involving maturity, forced by tragedy, loss, & heartbreak, earned through selfless gallantry, sacrifice, & heroic conquest, ... although Constantine was then a rather cruel prankster (nature or nurture) yet develops into the laughing mage, dry sarcastic enlightening incisive irking & irritating the Hell out of nearly everything, even putting the the First of the Fallen in his place, while rationalizing better cause for protecting the Universe in all it's chaotic dysfunctional glory. He's not really an heretic, sacrilegious, iconoclast, or apolitical beside expresses thought about history & current events in mortal human & immortal condition, society & policy, progress better or worse,. Hope you're able follow that stream or glean something. I thought about seeing if any interest was online about Hellblazer so appreciate your presentation & response.
