Thanks for your honest review 🙂 I have a 2017 Honda Vision 110cc little scooter, I was considering to buy this tiny scooter as extra daily commuter to go to work in the spring and summer months (45 mile trip back and forth each day), but after watching your review I’m gonna stay with my tiny Honda Vision 110 🙂
This has a plush suspension. Other than that I'd rather have my Radwagon E-bike. It's got a throttle, step through, adjustable seat height, 750cc motor, 0.67kWh battery, 70lbs, 350lbs carry capacity and room to carry stuff, kids and other cargo, can adjust to 24mph top speed and goes 17miles no pedal 30-40 with pedal. $2000, same as Segway C80
When you installed the rear seat , you had to take out the rubber plastic ? So there’s screw hole pre made on the rear baseboard? For example will the gps detect the location or it needs the phone in event it gets lost or stolen?
Do You have to renew Segway app membership after one year? Most owners from China just found out if they don't their GPS and other online security features won't work, their price is CNY66 per year
Considering this bike. Have you had any tire or battery issues yet? I'm hearing the bike has been discontinued and would be worried about replacement parts. Any thoughts?
Hello, thank you for this video I had questions other videos didn't answer but yours did. But does it handle going up and down small/medium sized hills?
Yea I weight 165lbs and often carry a passenger on the back as well and it can still get up to 32km/h on flats. On hills with your weight it should be no problem. But I would suggest you find another brand due to their poor customer service
@@_mist depends on where you are. I'm in Toronto and I would suggest beachman bikes. If you are looking for similar style of bikes. Otherwise check out rideonup for ebike style
Hello Chi, does your come with the back seat accessory like you showed .25 second in your video. Please let me know so I can tell them thay my box comes missing this accessory. Thanks.
My GPS has never worked. In fact, I returned the first one I got because of it, and the new one didn't have a working GPS either. I really like this moped, but the GPS is definitely garbage and so is their customer service, for such an expensive item.
It feels really nice to me. I thought it might be too slow before I got it, but it actually feels nice and zippy. Just don't ride it in traffic because you can't keep up. I only ride it in bike lanes or paths, or at night if streets are mostly empty.
In my case I had that issue when I connected the charger through an extension cord. Connecting directly to the wall outlet solved the issue. It seems that the charger requires 15 amperes to work properly.
It's funny how technology changes our perspective on things. Especially battery powered implements, tools & vehicles & our disposable lifestyle. It's as though the most recent, youngest generations expect planned obsolescence short term use & new vehicles every year or two. If that little scooter had a gasoline 4-stroke combustion engine, 5000 km's would just be broken in. Nothing nearly to a "long term" review.
I got mine from backing the indiegogo campaign. Im not sure if you can get them still. But I would check Segway website or contact their customer service

In our country everything above 49.9cc is concidered a motorbike 😂

Hey J Chi! Do you still have the c80? If so, how many KM are you at, and how's it going?
Thanks for this video.
That seems perfect for where you live fun little grocery getter
Thank you for testing two people on it!!! That’s been my biggest question. I want to know if I can have my lady jump on the back and go for a ride.
U can but it's going to be slower to accelerate and hills are going to be super slow
When you installed the rear seat , you had to take out the rubber plastic ? So there’s screw hole pre made on the rear baseboard? For example will the gps detect the location or it needs the phone in event it gets lost or stolen?
No the rubber plastic can stay on. My GPS has been broken for over a year now. So I can't comment on that. Sorry
Do You have to renew Segway app membership after one year? Most owners from China just found out if they don't their GPS and other online security features won't work, their price is CNY66 per year
Oh maybe that's why my GPS stopped working but it happened way before 1 year and they won't answer my emails so stay away
We’re did you purchase the front basket ? Have cops stop you when using on streets or sidewalks?
Stopped one time because I took the pedals off. I got the basket from the Indiegogo campaign. It was one of the perks of being a backer
Considering this bike. Have you had any tire or battery issues yet? I'm hearing the bike has been discontinued and would be worried about replacement parts. Any thoughts?
I would not buy this bike. Warranty is a joke. Customer service from overseas is terrible.
Thanks! Do you find the pedals work better with the power off?
No not at all. You don't want to be pedalling this bike. It's purely there to comply with legal definition of ebike :)
I heard you can increase its speed upto 35 miles/hr. Anyone knows how to do it??
Also, if it is good to drive in rains??
You should t drive it in the rain
Shouldn’t
Hello, thank you for this video I had questions other videos didn't answer but yours did. But does it handle going up and down small/medium sized hills?
Small hills should be no problem. But anything steep is going to be a challenge. Also depends on how much you weight I guess. :)
@@jcyt2023 oh ok thanks, I weight about 103lb so I should he fine hopefully.

It came with it due to Indiegogo campaign I'm not sure if u get it from buying directly from their website
Can you show how to attach the basket? I’ve got the b110s. Don’t know if it possible to attach the basket from c80 to b110s. They look pretty similar
You'd have to use the included pry tool and open the front cover. The whole thing is a unibody plastic.
Bro, wha5s the real world range you get on a full charge. Thanks

Exactly their customer service is garbage I hope people see this and reconsider
Hi, I’m looking to buy this and I was just wondering if you personally think it’s worth it, like is the 20mph fast enough for you?
It feels really nice to me. I thought it might be too slow before I got it, but it actually feels nice and zippy. Just don't ride it in traffic because you can't keep up. I only ride it in bike lanes or paths, or at night if streets are mostly empty.
It's plenty for most of you don't have a lot of hills otherwise it struggles as going up hill it can be slower around 13-14mph
My battery wont turn on my moped. When I charge it, the 3rd and 5th light flashes when I click the button. So weird... I only rode it once.
In my case I had that issue when I connected the charger through an extension cord. Connecting directly to the wall outlet solved the issue. It seems that the charger requires 15 amperes to work properly.
@@carlosreyes5080 I did the outlet as well. Didn’t work. Spoke to customer service. Didn’t replace battery. Now sitting on a moped that doesn’t drive.
Is this available in phil.?
Where did you get the attachments?
The company included them as perks for backing the Indiegogo campaign. I think u can also buy them online on segway
How to turn it on if the NFC card fails?
You are screwed then sorry to say. Contact Segway but their customer service is useless so I wouldn't have high hopes
talvez este jodido como TU dices pero no estoy tonto como TU para comprar algo que no dan servicio
Where did you buy the basket?
It was a perk of backing Segway campaign on Indiegogo.
What's the range on a fully charged battery
60-80km depending on temperature outside
@@jcyt2023 awesome, I found 2 brand new for 60p a piece , I'm thinking about picking them up!
One more question, about how long would it take to charge from 0 to 100?

I meant it more of a thing on the RUclips algorithm. As I saw a lot of reviews but they were all like 1 week old. All in the perspective I guess :)
Hi im 5'4/166 cm. Would i fit on this bike?
Yep should be no issue
@@jcyt2023 Nice! Thank u
Looks like it’s falling apart and your only on 5k 😖😵💫
Yep rip quality control 😂

Looks cheap no thank you👎
