It is super fun. I love it at Spa and Sardegna, now looking fwd to trying it in the 700 pp race at Le Mans :-) The GrB Toyota 86 is my sure-thing go-to there
Thanks, the 800pp tuning is really good and I gained a significant time using it on Sardegna 15 laps, 1 stop only, most laps under 1mn40, which makes it faster (for me) than the CLK or the McLaren F1 GTR. The 700pp is good too and I won Le Mans with it, but for this race I prefer to use cars to the fullest of their capacity or almost rather than detune too much Gr.1 or Gr.2 cars. So I will continue to use my Ferrari 330 P4 or my Alpine A220. Thanks for sharing again !
I do sardegna with this but have fuel at 1 and drive with just a tiny touch of short shifting for 8 laps then it is hell for leather for the final 7 and win by over a minute, more fun than just cruising around saving gas, what is your best lap time at sardegna with the 800pp tune? thanks.
I used to do no stop strategy before the update but now I do 8 laps on fuel mix 1, change tyres and refuel to 80% then do the last 7 laps on mix 1 aswell. I managed to get just under 25mins recently. It's usually about 25:05 - 25:20 but I play after work and have a drink and smoke so it tends to go to 25:30 later on. My fastest lap time has been 1:35. How about you?
The Lemans course isn't great for credits because of the time limit. I've also found myself parked at the finish line waiting for it to be my "last lap" many times lol. The Sardegna course is great to practice with and test many of the better cars available right now. There's also no rain, which is nice. A reliable grind on it is with the gr 2 Lexus, the blue one. Just slap some racing hards and you can clear 8 laps EASILY on lvl 1 fuel map, meaning drive as aggressiveas you want. I usually take 27-28 mins to clear it, and it's much more fun than the other grinds, mostly because you can win with just about any gr 3 car if you manage your fuel, and gr 3 is NOT a requirement. Gives you room to play around.
@@Voss44 Actually all the gr 2 cars are very good, but the ones with lower pp are better for the 800 races. There's only the NSX, GT-R, and the Lexus. They can all do the course with one pit on fuel 1, but the Lexus has the best mileage by far. The low pp ones are better because they're about 805 but come with medium racing tires. Slap hards on and you're under 800 with full power gr 2 cars. Huge difference in performance, you'll blow past gr 3 cars on fuel 6 lol.
@@davejones9469 I was using the 800pp 787B on fuel map 6. You might have to lift and coast a little here and there but yeah I do it without a pit stop. I enjoy the drive.
This seems to have broke with the patch. I get 803.94 now. It was exactly 800 for me before the patch. The 700 build now gives me 694.23. instead of 699.99.
Tuning is personal preference for sure, and we also likely play with different sensitivity. Adjust it however you need to. If you want a sharper turn in you could knock down the anti-roll bars a notch, or add a slight toe angle. I tend to tune my cars to have stiffer steering overall. 👌
Honestly I haven't kept track, usually in the 30mins range. I've run that 787 probably like 12-15 times on Lemans now. Le Mans is my mindless not paying attention race. I like doing that one for my daily ;)
**Updated for 1.34** (switch to manual transmission)
For the 700PP tune:
Downforce: Front 607 / Rear 1395
Body Height: Lower to 63/68
Output Adjustment (ECU): 80%
Power Restrictor: 75%
Ballast: 200 @-50
For the 800PP tune:
Body Height: Lower to 63/68
ECU Output moves to 100%
Power Restrictor moves to 100%
Ballast adjust to 0
Front Downforce is 692. Rear Downforce is 1597.
LSD Initial Torque 32 / Acceleration Sensitivity 24
Do you mean ECU still on 91?
Hmmm I'm still at 703.78, I ended up installing the Fully Customizable: Manual transmission and its now 699.98
@@Xenonuke Yup forgot to add it. I flipped to manual for the tune. I'll update my notes.
Why am I getting 820pp?

I honestly don’t know how you don’t have more subs friend. Concise, accurate and straight to the point. Thanks
Just will take time, appreciate the comment! Right now this is a part time hobby so I need to pick/choose what content I can put out lol.
AWESOME!! This is a great tune. A lot of fun!! My new primary car. Thank you! Keep em coming.
The be all and end all for all your GT7 needs
Thank you very much for sharing. This car has fast become my go to for both those races. Such a fun drive.

Glad it worked for ya! It's an amazing car for both the 700/800 races!
Wow 🤩 just bought this 787B yesterday missing with settings and you just pin points my goal!! Thank You sir 😎👍

I somehow keep spinning out with this car so I’m glad you did a video on tuning this car

Great tune guides. Sub’d 👍🏻 looking forward to more tunes as I now have 235 cars 🫤

That turbo flutter is amazing on this rig…
Thanks for making this video very helpful...this car is great!!!@*
great quality video! it’d be awesome if you could do a tune for the fd rx7 (either spirit r or RE Amemiya)
Can you do a tune for the Gr.4 Italia please, that's the car that I use, I'm curious to how you would tune it.
Thank You.
So I picked it up. It's actually not a bad ride. What races are you wanting to run with it?

I think you have a better strategy there. I'll try it out. No idea on my lap time, but I'll try your method!

Will this tune carry over to the Jaguar XJR-9 and the Nissan R92CP, for example?
Somewhat. Each car is pretty specific but would provide a starting point.
I’m wondering, the 800pp tune isn’t high rpm turbocharger and maxxed downforce good?
I'm sure it would be. The car is super forgiving I'm sure you can tweak the tune multiple ways.
best setup ever. but looks like they changed physics again, lol. i changed balast values to match PP
I'll check it out. Every patch some stuff seems to shift a bit! Thanks for the heads up!
How to set the fuel consumption?
Use the D pad to cycle through the menu (left/right) and then cycle up/down to adjust that setting.

Do u use a turbucharger?
I've got my car (Mazda 787b) sorted but was hoping for some help with the gear ratios for it?
Nice! For 700PP I used:
1st = 2.866 / 116
2nd = 2.045 / 162
3rd = 1.582 / 210
4th = 1.283 / 259
5th = 1.091 / 320
If you need them for the 800 tune they are:
1st = 2.626 / 126
2nd = 1.824 / 182
3rd = 1.391 / 239
4th = 1.114 / 298
5th = 0.938 / 373
