This is what I’ve been waiting for! A detailed look for those of us that need to make to do lists and are task oriented and need to see it all visually.

Great. I much prefer a realistic and weekly journal rather than a fairy tale long term goal layout! Well done for creating real yet still impressive content!

I had a similar start with the weeklies as you. When I tried to use them, the boxes have either been too small or too big. But never right. Then I started to do a similar dashboard as you are doing now. It worked for me for quite a long time. Right now I am only doing a rolling weekly. Which at the moment works the best for me.

Super cool! I love that you have a different sort of courage to create your own style and not be restricted by what social media sometimes "expects" bullet journalists to do. I was so happy to be able to watch another one of your videos, because you totally inspire me every time! 😃

It's awesome to hear what works for other people. I had to try many different spreads to find what I personally need out of a daily bullet journal now. I have settled for a weekly over view and 7 boxes for daily "To Do" lists. I found having to much space I either did not use it or only made a "To do" list and left the rest blank. A few years ago I needed a page a day to stay on track. I think it is good to step back and evaluate every now and than. Thanks for the video!

I love this video because I, too, for a long time, felt like I had to do like everybody else when in fact, lots of spreads didn’t serve their purpose. For 2022, I’m already thinking of how my bullet journal can work for ME (not the other way around). I like that your spreads are beautiful and not time consuming…thank you for sharing this! Blessings 🤩

Thanks for sharing this w/us Rylee. It’s nice to know that a professional bujo-er has issues with the cute layouts. I LOvE the layout space you gave me in my bujo, it really speaks to what I need. I love your dashboard, such a great idea! As always, I’m a huge fan! Your November setup is gorgeous!

Thank you so much for this! I use my monthly spread for my weeklies but I've been struggling to find out a good way to sort my dailies since I typically do rolling dailies. This gave me a lot of good ideas to implement!

So happy to have found this video. It’s perfection for me as a newbie in the BuJo world. You described so much of what I have been playing with (form vs function). I too prefer a morn-afternoon-evening breakout. Thank you so so so much for this. Empty Insta setups are beautiful and inspiring but the “how to make this work” is so appreciated. Thanks for the honesty and share!

This was really helpful. I was struggling with weeklies, but after your “dashboard” example, it suddenly made so much sense to have a place to put tasks/events a few days in advance in the week (including meal planning). I didn’t like making dailies in advance to fill that need, so this is perfect. Your design is so cute, but still quick and simple, too. Thank you for the inspiration! 🥰

thank you! I don't know why but I just realized I was stuck in this mindset that my bullet journal had to be either totally full of art work/doodles or all black and white minimal text only. I'm excited to incorporate your weekly spread ideas into mine this upcoming year since the standard weekly spreads aren't really that helpful to me either!

Rylee, this couldn’t be any more perfect! THANK YOU!! I’m going to try this right now for my December bullet journal (I know I’m having a late start this month). I think you just gave me the solution to my bullet journal problems this year. I was so ready to give up. I bought 2 journals for 2022 and I was not happy about even starting them. I felt kind of upset about it. I like your method so much better and if I want to be artsy and create something artistic on my journal I will still be able to do so. I think this will take a big part of my anxiety away. This is super functional, simple and so pretty! ♥️
