    Hey, by any chance increase what do you mean. After double crochet and then increase but I don’t understand the increase. Do you add three

      Increase means crocheting 2 double crochet in one stitch.

    I am using the same colour for my hat, and i have a lot of yarn left, can you suggest what i can make to match with the hat ?

      A bucket hat matches with anything honestly. I normally prefer wearing one handmade item at a time

    Ma, from round 5 to round 7 I don't understand how you did it.

    • @umphi_creates
      @umphi_creates  3 месяца назад

      Those are increasing rounds so that the circle/base can get bigger ans maintain the shape.
      So round 5 : 2 dc in one stitch, then 1dc in the next 3 stitches, then repeat til the end of the round.
      Round 6: 2dc in one stitch, then 1 dc in the next 4 stitches, then repeat til the end of the round…
      Round 7: 2dc in one stitch, then 1 dc in the next 5 stitches, then repeat til the end of the round.

    Hi Umpi I did my 7 rows and have a diameter of 6 inches should I continue or add other rows to make 7 inches

    • @umphi_creates
      @umphi_creates  Год назад +2

      I would advise that you add another one but depending on your head size, if you are able to calculate the diameter of your head from the circumference please do.
      Use a google calculator, measure your head circumference then use the calculator to convert it to diameter. If the measurements are close to 6inch then continue, if not then increase the round. Hope i make sense. But 6inch most times it becomes too tight on the head and we don’t want you to have unnecessary headaches

    I'm so confused

      It’s going to be hard for me to understand what could have been the cause. What i would advise is for you to keep on going and see if it won’t stabilise.
