My top 5 ATEEZ- Atiny’s love to say that Ateez tt tracks are great but where the group really shines is in their b-sides. So I’m happy you noticed that. I just think KQ entertainment and their production team have a clear vision for Ateez. Their albums are always so fully fleshed out sonically. NCT 127- Hip Hop and R&B kings. I have never not heard a song or album from them that I dislike. EXO- Legends. Red Velvet- My girls. Honestly if you love R&B and you want to get into a group SM entertainment is the company for you. XG- Mad I didn’t get tickets to their concert. Honorable Mentions: Xikers: Same company as Ateez. They’re rookies still but I would put their rap line on the same level as NCT 127’s and Stray Kids. It’s kind of wild. Aespa: They always serve and I’ve been enjoying their recent albums TXT: Something about their music that’s soothing. Idk. NewJeans: A vibe Anddd Kiss of life and Wayv.

As an ALPHAZ member, I 100 percent agree with ur K-pop take. I think they are severely hurting themselves not just letting their work speak for itself and entering more prominently into comparison/debate discussions are so important to organic growth in Asian market. I’ve just been bumping xg/g-idle and some Ateez. I just find myself so impressed with Soyeon and kind of hope that’s what the girls in xg seek to become. I kind of wish they could just have a 3 month boot camp with her.
If you really think XG should become like someone else... Then you still don't get why they choose to become Aliens... They're not meant to be like anyone else, you should know the meaning of "breaking stereotypes" because that's been their purpose ever since the group started.... And why 3 month bootcamp? If they spend 5 years in their training
My top 5 and why... 1. NCT(Forever my number 1 group will always be my ults I love this group with my whole heart and soul!!!) 2. Onewe(The best k band ever with the best vocalist ever..STAN ONEWE!) 3. Skz(One of the first like 3 groups I ever got into and I still absolutely love them so so much)/ Zerobaseone(Yes they are tied with Skz cuz I fell in love with them ever since Boys Planet) 4. Ateez(The 2nd kpop group I got into after BTS and they hold a special place in my heart I love them) 5. Enyphen(I have been so obsessed with them this past year and they quickly became one of my top groups)
I agree with all your Girl Group picks (I don't disagree with the Boy Group picks, I just don't know enough about bg's). I would add Billlie and Young Posse to your list
This was a great video, and actually I agree with most of your list. tripleS, ARTMS and XD are groups that I always (will) keep an eye on. Three of the most exciting things happening in Kpop right now, and luckily, will be the future of Kpop (yes, I also consider XG as Kpop, and Left Right is also my favorite XG song, hahaha). Most recently Rescene is a group that surprised me with the quality of their two songs released so far, I was obsessed with them for quite a while (still listen to them), and would recommend them to anyone willing to listen. I'll take your rec on Stayc, for some reason is a group I always neglected, but apparently I've been missing out. Nothing wrong with been a GG only fan, I'm one myself for the most part, BUT if you're willing to try something not so obvious, I'd recommend the group OnlyOneOf. What might move the needle for you is that it group created by Jaden Jeong, the creator or LOONA, and current CEO and creative director of Modhaus. It still works with them, but the group is self-produced these days. They have a very interesting and unique sound, and I do like to listen to them from time to time. NCT and Ateez are, of course, not bad choices at all. I'm a fan of NCT too, although it's been a while since I last listened to them, In terms of female groups to keep an eye on, in terms of rookie groups, I'd only add Young Posse, although they may not be for everyone. It's mostly hip-hop influenced, but they're goofy and fun, but always interesting and exciting. They're these days what Momoland and woo!ah! were not so long ago: a fun group that reminds you of the fun Kpop is supposed to be, if nothing else. Keep the videos coming!
I've gotten a ton of recommendations for only one onlyoneof so I definitely intend on getting to them and seeing what the hype is about lol, and I also slept on Stayc for AWHILE. I only knew Asap prior to this recent album binge and it completely changed my outlook of the group
@@TJKReactsss Well, I wouldn't want to hype OnlyOneOf as the greatest thing in Kpop or the female version of LOONA, but it's legitimately an underrated group worth listening too, if you want to try some BGs. Their older stuff was more R&B-ish, to put in one way, and their recent stuff is a bit more abrasive and experimental. Really, not unlike NCT, but...different. Just some good stuff to try. I'm on the same boat as you regarding Stayc. Will remedy that very soon.
You know I bang with XG 😅. Got my daughter and my concert tickets in ATL. Badvillain is dope though +82 and Hurricane are definitely on my Playlist, the beats are so good.. Young Posse style gets me though, they just dropped "Ate That" which is awesome and the MV is 🔥. Not sure if you've checked out OneorEight, I saw Ryan Tedder posted them. He produced their debut song and it's worth a listen. Definitely has that One Republic touch. That's it I don't know a fifth 🤣

I don't "follow" any groups/musicians per se besides XG but the ones I like at least lately; 1) XG 2) Kiss of Life 3) Young Posse 4) IU 5) Ailee I don't really listen to any K-pop or K-pop adjacent songs besides XG very much but the ones who have 1 or more songs in my playlist; SKZ Triples WayV IVE Aespa Badvillain Babymonster NMIXX ITZY BP ILLIT Lee Young Ji
