* Absolutely agree with Montclair's Lair... Your props are KILLER!! Like 1,000 times better than anything I have ever seen at a Hallowe'en store. Really great work. Thanks for sharing this.
Definately like getting ideas from your builds, and not trying to be rude, however everything you build is with a major expense. Maybe do a build for people who dont have the tools you have or some cheaper solutions. But you are a great artist and creator. Top notch.
The cemetery columns actually remind me of something that would be found in Gotham cemetery. It has that very modern city feel to it with the use of more rectangular shapes but still has the gothic decadence with all of the extra ridges and detailing that would bring it into the batman universe, and the ivy is just icing on the cake. Can't wait to see what's next
As always a great video. I think I will start building my props out of wood. Most people like to change it up every year but I like to build it up. Thanks for more inspiration.
Chris you definitely knocked it out of the park with everything that you made there. It's looks creepy & the walls looked like the ones from the backdrop there. I loved that Jeana added those black vines to them. I love the video as always. What's the next project you got in mind?
Thank you Richard we are still playing catch up with some stuff, working, and editing videos from other projects but we are discussing exactly what we have the time and energy for this season. We are both definitely anxious to start working on something Halloween related.
Duuuuuuude! Found some really nice pallets to make these walls. Gonna custom build columns. Ive got several months but I'm trying to do as much as possible before october
Hey Temecula is our old stomping grounds back when we made outdoor kitchens. It would be cool to meet up this Halloween. We are still not for certain if we are doing anything big this year. It's lame but we are so busy & tired now and trying to figure out if our new landlords are cool with the whole thing. We may get a burst of energy who knows.
Hollywood Haunter, ok keep us informed, I understand about the landlord thing. I was hoping to see you guys at Midsummer Scream but I kept missing you. I was there on Sunday! Got to meet the real Jason and Capt Spaulding though! 😉
Steve Mahr its been leaning up against the fence uncovered all year and needs some love, we would like to set it up we just have to muster up the energy.
Same i need to make columns for my cemetery but we have a wood fance connected to are house the look old tho so i just need the arch way and some columns
I just recently found your channel. My husband is going to hate me, haha. I've gotten so many ideas from you guys. Going to try making a few things for this season, but I know I'm a little behind. Only 4 more months til the greatest holiday of the year!
Hey guys , I love your Videos. Im currently planning a Whimsical backyard playhouse for my daughter. You have given me So many great ideas. 1 question I have is can I use Flex-bond on the playhouse and seal it and it will last ?? Thanks ❤️
Steve Mahr the tombstones are not heavy I set them all on the gate and rode up so I didnt have to climb up in the truck. The columns are heavy to lift but I use a hand truck to scoot them around. Our backs love that lift gate.
Hollywood Haunter I hear ya on the lift gate! I wish I could install one on my truck! I hear ya on mustering energy with a new little creature in the house. Give yourselves a break - haunts last a lifetime, but babies grow up (too) fast!
I have a really dumb question for you guys. I have seen exterior homes and buildings with foam moldings and then they cover it with a cement type stuff. If it's on a house or building its gotta be somewhat strong right? Maybe not the same stuff you guys use? Anyway, you guys always blow my mind with what you come up with. Insanely cool.
Someone else supplied the backdrop for this scene but what we usually do is purchase an image off of sites like shutterstock and then pay a local graphic shop to print it for us. As for the image I'm not for sure where it came from sorry.
@@HollywoodHaunter Thank you so much for the shutterstock reference. I will have to see if I can find someone to print an image here in England. Keep up the great work guys, I've learnt so much from you.
We would love to drag that all out and set it up but in does need work now that it's been sitting out for year. Plus we have so much going on now that we are still unsure whether we should try to do it. We still have to figure stuff out and talk about things.
Hey guys we are big fans and we were wondering if you could do a tutorial on the painting process. Also do you guys have a fb page we would love to share our tombstones with you. Thanks
I thought the same thing, Chris was channeling his inner Worrell. And I think Ernest would approve of Chris' videos, after all the P does stand for Powertools.
What's the thyme this year? Also, you guys got any ideas of thymes for a already rundown looking house that's was built in the 1920s? I was thinking maybe new Orleans which thyme but Idk..any ideas?
new orleans theme could be cool with fireflies, rundown shack with a front porch, spanish moss hanging from the trees, cricket and frog sounds, skeletons, maybe some ponds with crocodiles and lots and lots of fog. Its cool that you have an old house to work with.
I was so excited to see you guys posting how to videos again! I decided last year to just go for it and built a bunch of stuff from my own haunt. Big shout out to you guys for being inspirational. Check out my NBC house: ruclips.net/video/wr1HJDVd_yY/видео.html This year I am adding the puking fountain, oogies spinning wheel, hanging santa with chains from the tree, making bodies for lock shock and barrel and putting them in a tub. I am going to try the technics you showed here to build the cemetery gates. Keep up the good work!
Chris I love all the stuff you guys do and it’s great to have a Wife that loves to build and decorate just like you do, you guys Rock
Thank you and you are right its wonderful to have a partner that enjoys some of the same things so you can do it together.

Loving these tutorial videos. I have gotten so many ideas from the both of you. And, Chris, you are a funny guy. Keep up the great work.

Hollywood Haunter whatever happened to that amazing cottage you guys were working on last year? Can you at least set that up for your haunt?
Steve Mahr its been leaning up against the fence uncovered all year and needs some love, we would like to set it up we just have to muster up the energy.
Babies are exhausting. Cuddly and wonderful, but exhausting.
I always learn something from your videos
How long did it take to make the columns?
HauntHunter I think it was probably about a week & a half or so to create the columns, walls, tombstones start to finish.
Wow! You did a really good job on them :)
thanks!
Same i need to make columns for my cemetery but we have a wood fance connected to are house the look old tho so i just need the arch way and some columns

Hey guys , I love your Videos. Im currently planning a Whimsical backyard playhouse for my daughter. You have given me So many great ideas. 1 question I have is can I use Flex-bond on the playhouse and seal it and it will last ?? Thanks ❤️
Such unique columns! I love your videos! (Just in case you didn't know that!)
Wonderful job as always. I noticed you using the lift gate to get them into the truck. How much do those suckers weigh?
Steve Mahr the tombstones are not heavy I set them all on the gate and rode up so I didnt have to climb up in the truck. The columns are heavy to lift but I use a hand truck to scoot them around. Our backs love that lift gate.

Chris, you are absolutely hilarious! This is great. Are you still going to do the witches cottage as your yard haunt this year?
We would love to drag that all out and set it up but in does need work now that it's been sitting out for year. Plus we have so much going on now that we are still unsure whether we should try to do it. We still have to figure stuff out and talk about things.
Awesome as always! What song did you use at the end of this video?
LynxProd gravedigger's ball by teknoaxe

Chris you're are such a goof, you had me laughing like a dork as I'm watching a tutorial on building Cemetery Columns & Walls...Ha I love it.

We wish we did too!!! :)
Please please please tell us you are doing a haunt this year pleeaaaseeee
We will be doing something, just not sure what yet???
You, my friend, have been inspired way way way too much by Ernest P Worrell. :)
FlyMario I had the same thought, Chris is hilarious!
Hahahaha! Jeana said the same thing when she watched the clips.
You guys are all my Vern, know what I mean!
I thought the same thing, Chris was channeling his inner Worrell. And I think Ernest would approve of Chris' videos, after all the P does stand for Powertools.
