In 2018, we had an opportunity to visit The House of Mary in Ephesus, a sacred place that attracts visitors from all over the world. It is a place to discover history, religion, or simply beautiful architecture; this ancient house has it all. It is worth the trip and if you have not been to this place, put it on your bucket list.
About 10 years ago, we visited for the first time the ruins of Ephesus and St John’s basilica, then up the nearby mountain to St Mary’s House. It was a hot summer day, we were fatigued and weary from walking through the ruins. But as soon as our tourist bus entered the wooded compound of St Mary’s House, we felt a serene and calming atmosphere that permeated this place. There is something sacred and peaceful in this place that soothes one’s spirit. We went inside the little stone house with a Marian chapel inside, knelt down and prayed. Near the shrine there was a little stream from a spring source, there were faucets tapping the stream and we filled our bottles for souvenir and blessing. We felt blest to have visited this site.
Yes, we felt the same, I felt very peaceful at that place.
🙏🏽🙏🏽Please put your hand on our heads mother Mary. The world needs peace especially the countries which are going through terrible war hate crime.😢😢😢😢😢
Bless are those who believe in God and Mother Mary- the world will be blessed and Israel will be saved.
Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and comments!

Mary was Jewish, not Turkish. The Pagan Church is all about a Woman named Mary.
She moved here from Jerusalem and died in Ephesus
@@LearnwithSueAnn Where is the evidence that Mary died in Ephesus?
